We went to see the Nutcracker Christmas Eve. The show was incredible. Go see the Nutcracker!! The theater is old and could use some updating for sure. But... It had a nice old time feel. Taking you back in time before there were all these mega plexes. Would I go back? Yes, matter fact we are going back to see Swan lake.
Very entertaining! I was expecting the background screen to show scenes from the movies or some interactive images, but it only played what appeared to be very faint lights. I think if they had played the scenes or had some sort of imagery on the screen it would have enhanced the experience.
Having been around for my lifetime, the theatre has survived many downturns. While decent, it needs more private help to upgrade facilities to keep it acceptable. I don't understand the simulated candles down both sides of the aisles wall ledges, but that's a small feature. Still a great view from every seat, audio was acceptable for comedy. Lighting seemed in good condition and upgraded from years back.
