Fantastic place to stay! The Inn is beautiful and I cannot say enough about the host! She is wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We had the best cup of tea ever with her. Would definitely recommend and stay again! ?

18 minutes from the Ithaca commons, with a gorgeous view of the lake, you can have an experience that includes good food and good company! If you want something beyond just lodging, this is the place to go.

The Cayuga Lake Front Inn is a nightmare. Stay away!! The bed was the worst bed imaginable. It was supposed to be a king, but it was two really cheap twin mattresses pushed together with a big gap in the middle. The frame was from a day bed so there were big side bars where you should normally get out of the bed. you were trapped in the bed. The only way to get out was to shimmy to the bottom. The comforter was a very cheap synthetic material that I didn’t want near my skin. All the furniture was from various thrift stores. The chairs were sunken in, at the seats. You really couldn’t sit on them. The property is quite gorgeous over looking the lake. And the area is quite nice. But it really was the weekend from hell. We paid a lot of money for it and everything was awful. The food was almost inedible. My husband loves food and ate almost nothing. The innkeeper would combine really strange flavors in an attempt to be creative, I guess, but it ended up just being bad food. Our room was very awkwardly laid out. The bedroom had no closet, no dresser and no night stands. The bed took up almost all of the room so there was almost no where to walk in the room. About a foot on either side of the bed. There were lots of odds and ends everywhere. Books laying around, pictures, knick knacks. It just looked like a lot of junk everywhere. A very strange decorating style. Nothing was comfortable. The table for breakfast was a high top. With tall chairs. Horribly uncomfortable. This place was so bad that is was almost comic. We were so relieved when we got home, it was heaven to be in a comfortable place again. We love Ithaca, and had a delightful day wandering around Cornell. Enjoy the area, but find any place else to stay.

My husband and I spent one night here - booked last minute on Hotels.com… After the initial question about the “lake front” - this property is not on the lake (lake view - yes, lake front no) - we were shown around the property and given a choice of rooms. The room we decided on was clean, comfortable with a balcony & beautiful lake view. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the breakfast Dianne prepared for us in the morning. Thanks for a great stay!

I stayed at the Tuscan Nature Sanctuary and had a terrific balcony room with very artistic/bohemian decor. The views of the lake were great, and there was a walking path to access the lake from the house. This was a very unique place to stay and a great experience for a quick getaway.

Love exploring new bed and breakfast places when going on special dates and outings! We stayed in the Natures retreat Villa. The bedroom was beautiful and it had a sun/ reading room attached that went out to the patio area. It was decorated inside beautifully and had a beautiful view! It was such a pretty site! The larger home, which has commons area as well for all guests and a huge patio deck was a gorgeous place to sit and enjoy the view. The host was wonderful and down to earth. Very accommodating and flexible for when we were going to arrive. We had access to the jacuzzi at night and was such a wonderful end to our day. The moon and the stars were breath taking as we relaxed and soaked the day away in the jacuzzi. Especially after a day of hiking at watkins glen and montour falls. It wasn’t a far drive to the lake but far enough away from the mass of tourism and traffic. It was a great experience over all. You can’t beat the price for what you’re getting. Keep in mind it’s a bed and breakfast specifically for guests and doesn’t have the feel of being attached to someone’s home like most Bed and breakfast inns! We would definitely suggest this to those who enjoy a beautiful setting and a down to earth environment. Felt very comfortable.

Terrible place, dirty, false advertising. COULD NOT see the lake. There was nothing there. I paid for 4 nights, didn't stay 1. Refused to give me any money back. I would never recommend this place. Waste of money.

We booked same day for 1 night and were pleasantly surprised and pleased with our stay there. They were very good at getting us settled into our rooms and showing us around the property. Diane is a very welcoming, personable hostess and her breakfast was amazing! I would highly recommend this Inn for a unique experience.

This beautiful Villa property, situated above Cayuga lake with spectacular views, is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the owner Diane couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. We travel a lot. We highly recommend this property! We will be back!! The breakfast was 5 star complete gourmet! You are missing out on something if you don't have the opportunity to stay here while traveling to the Fingerlakes ????

The photos are deceiving, the kitchen area was not clean at all . There is no lounge/ common area to sit indoors, didn’t like that we had to share the bathroom with basically everyone else in the house. The owner Diane seemed excited to have us but would just “show up” out of no where which was a bit odd. The breakfast looked good but knowing it was prepared in the dirty and dusty kitchen and dining area made our stomach turn. The glasses were dirty with no clean paper towels, the counters were dusty everywhere. The bedsheets smelled as if they were wash without detergent and smelled like wet dog. Ironically to my surprise the bathrooms were actually clean and smelled clean as well. The view was nice, the location was nice as well. This place needs a good cleaning and some detailed restoration like lighting on the front terrace, bedroom door locks, a sitting room, although the decor seemed charming it was overwhelming and dusty placed on counters and all tables.

My husband and I stayed for one night at the Villa. It was a great experience overall; lots of room to roam about, and we met another couple who also stayed there and we spent a great evening sitting outside, drinking wine (with great cheese!) and swapping travel stories! Diane, the innkeeper, was lovely to deal with and made us a delish breakfast which we ate on the deck of the main house overlooking the lake (long long views!). Diane is a free spirit and you just have to roll with it to really enjoy your stay. Sure, some things were quite quirky (like the throne toilet or the sliding doors to the bedroom that locked with tiny hooks lol) but it didn't take away from the overall experience, it may have added to it. We noticed the outdoor hot tub but didn't get to use it, bummer. Diane has a very kind heart and if she likes you (meaning, don't be a j*** lol), you will be treated very well!! I heard her agreeing to make a dinner for 4! to another traveler. Her recommendations on local eateries and attractions were SPOT ON. She gave us a small parting gift (a cute picture frame) which brings fond memories of her kindness and our stay! Thanks Diane, keep on rocking, you got this!!!
