We were in Syracuse to visit our son for a few days and came here for dinner the day we arrived, a Friday. The place was busy but we got a table right away in a room in the back. The service was fine and friendly. While our son liked the food, we didn't care for it much. The popcorn they give at the start had a good enough flavor, but was oversalted. Then, we had an order of the Tex-Mex egg rolls that tasted good at the first bite, but the next was so salty it was gross. Other bites, yes I tried another, were all way too salty. What is it with the overuse of salt at this place? Are they trying to get you to buy more drinks or is this common here?
I had the crunchy Asian chicken salad. The chicken was ok, but in keeping with the theme, too salty. Someone in the kitchen had a heavy hand with the salt and needs some coaching. The salad was just meh. Too much broccoli and I like broccoli but it was hard to get some lettuce out of this meal. There was some spice as advertised, but too sweet. And nothing about the taste of this dish made me think Asian. It made me think American calling something Asian that isn't. If we visit again, we'll find other places to eat.

I’ve been here a few times and i normally get the classic or asian tender which is always. Decided to be a little adventurous in order the orange chicken tender bowl. First of all the tenders were nothing like the ones you would get if you were to get just tully tenders. Tenders seems like they were days old. The rice look like the ones you would get in minute rice. The broccoli and carrot looks like the ones from frozen packages. It came with this weird super sweet sauce. It was disgusting. I’m not wanting to complain, so I didn’t say anything still took the tender home for the dogs. Service was meh. The waiter was only looking at my husband and wasn’t looking at me when talking. Honestly, this left a bad taste in my mouth literally not sure I wanna go back.

We had an issue recently with the take out service at Tullys in Fairmount which was a rare occurrence. The food is always consistent and service prompt. I felt it was important to share my experience with management as I knew it was not typical of this location. I was called by Allen the manager who had been a friendly face for years. He was very apologetic of the situation and appreciative of my feedback, he wanted to make it right and advised me to ask for him when we decided to dine in again. We went on a typical busy Friday night. We’ were greeted and almost immediately sat. Before our meals touched the table he came over to advise me that one of our meals was on him as a courtesy. Allen is an important part of the Tullys family and the Fairmount location. He is always friendly and cares that his customers leave satisfied. The food was nothing less than delicious, tenders and fries came out cooked perfectly and within 10 minutes of ordering. Great Job Allen and Fairmount Tullys team!
Their chicken tenders and fish are good, everything else is generally disappointing. The flat iron steak was cooked well, but the meat itself was so gristly that most of it was inedible. The mashed potatoes needed flavor, it seemed they were cooked without butter, salt or pepper. This is the second or third time we've gone that I've tried to order something besides chicken tenders and been disappointed.
The food is great. Very consistent great family spot. Waiting for the server is another thing. We came early after appointments, she had 2 customers. Service is about the worst I have received. Waiting to pay doesn't encourage a large tip she should consider the 15% she got as a gift and hope for more enthusiasm.
Another fabulous meal. Great waitress (Shellie) that got my picky meal order exactly right the first time. Well done, Tully's. I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered there, and it hasn't always been chicken tenders!
