First time at water street bagel and super disappointed. I’ve heard great things about this place and had high hopes going in. It’s a very small shop and not a lot of seating. Extremely overcrowded. I ordered in store at the register a 2 nova breakfast sandwich and 2 bagels for later and paid over 40 dollars. I waited over 40 minutes for my food and as I asked about my order the cashier told me they were still working on it. When I asked again they then noticed my bag was still sitting on the back counter done. I didn’t get an apology, compensated or even a free bagel for the inconvenience. I have to say that this Nova sandwich was a 7/10. The salmon is really good but the bagel itself was hard. I had this on the salt bagel. Cream cheese was smooth. Overall flavor was alright. I’m not sure if I would come back.. doesn’t seem really worth the hassle. Maybe I’ll give it another chance but not likely .

Best bagel spot in all of CNY. I was unable to decide between a sesame and poppy bagel as I never tried poppy. Was very hesitant and decided to go with the sesame, unbeknownst to me after I returned home, I had a sample of the poppy bagel as well as my order of a sesame bagel.
I was already very impressed with the service and atmosphere, that was just the icing on the cake. Thank you!!!

Fantastic wood fired bagels, crispy shell with a moist chewy center. This is how bagels are supposed to taste. Breakfast sandwiches were perfectly cooked. Took only minutes with the place being busy. Very cute fresh interior to sit and snack.

My wife and I went to Water Street Bagels for the first time today. Probably around 10am. No line, we had already eaten breakfast so we just wanted a few bagels to eat later. We ended up getting 5. All the bagels were unbelievably delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in Syracuse in the morning.

I’ve always loved coming here. Haven’t been in a year and it’s still so good and it tastes so fresh, even with me coming in 20 minutes late to pick it up. I did encounter two young ladies today, that honestly set the tone for the rest of my day. Maddie and Aubrey were so sweet, helpful and easy to talk to! Going places is really hit or miss with service now a days, but the kindness and happiness they had made me happy I chose to get a meal there, regardless of the quality food! They have two amazing workers I hope they cherish because people don’t always have attitudes like that with customers at their jobs anymore. Even with simple interactions. If you want a great bagel sandwich with a great vibe, even if it’s a 2 minute encounter I highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious and will definitely be back. Only complaint is my wife and I were ignored for a few minutes while waiting at the register and when the young lady finally walked over, we had to repeat our order multiple times because she kept staring off into space. Aside that, we ordered two Maples with French toast bagels and they were absolutely amazing.

A clean, well organized and accommodating food option for bagels and sandwiches.

The menu offers a wide selection of bagels and sandwiches, both breakfast and lunch. The prices are reasonable with quality ingredients used. The wood fired baking produces a slight crunch on the outside with a soft and slightly chewy inside. The result is a good bagel. The English Muffin bagel is good with a balanced and recognizable flavor.

Online orders are accepted and handled efficiently. I chose to order in the store. The staff member taking the order was patient and helpful as I asked for modifications for dietary reasons. The order was prepared correctly and quickly.

This is a great small business with quality bagel items, a customer focused staff and good prices. Well worth a visit.

I mean, they’re not Jersey bagels, neither in size nor taste, but they’re still pretty dang good. I highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. Bagels are always good.

Once you go, you're gonna see some quality chocolate milk and think all will be good but it will really unravel from there. If you like to wait 30 minutes in a cold awkward building for a sub pad sandwich then look no further. The Sandys themselves had little to no egg and the bagels are rough. Only thing was the sausage was good. You will leave this place wanting it to do better...if your bagel was made right

I wish they had Salt Bagels. Not Salt&Herb, not Salt&Rosemary, not Salt n Pepper... Salt.

Give me a Salt Bagel.

2.89 a bagel is too expensive to not have the flavor I want.
