This neighborhood gem is making almost everything from scratch, and priced far lower than one might expect. While it is primarily a bar, the food makes it worth a special trip across town. The fries and cheese sauce are the best I've had in Syracuse. The house made ranch dressing is exceptional. The desserts are fun and inventive. While the kitchen is best known for their brunches, I recommend going on other days as well.
Update: had Thanksgiving brunch there and it was amazing. Even better than I had hoped. It was expertly run with staggered seating times and frequently restocked buffet offerings.

I was able to enjoy this years mother's day here at the wolf's den. The food here is delicious and wait staff are really personable and friendly. I left so full and thoroughly enjoyed everything they offered on their buffet menu. I'm a frequent flyer and really look forward to the next time I come back.

Unfortunately, I have no pictures of the food, which is a tell-tale sign that everything was amazing! Everyone that tended to us was friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. ? We enjoyed the Mother's Day brunch and had a wonderful time. Price was well worth it, and we were sure to tip well.
