The food here is delicious. The jagerschnitzel is one of my favorites. The schnitzel is crispy and the red cabbage is sweet. The spaetzle is a little too crispy I think, though. The chicken cordon bleu is probably the best chicken I've ever had. It was so unbelievably tender! The venison medallions are good and the compote compliments it well. The pot roast I thought was okay, but I don't really like pot roast to begin with. If you like pot roast I would recommend trying it; it was fork tender. The popover served with the pot roast was slightly bitter for some reason though. All of the veggies that come with most of the dishes are pretty bland. The cocktails could be improved. My husband didn't enjoy the old fashioned at all. I also saw someone send back I believe an Irish coffee for being cold. When our dessert came out they brought the Irish coffee over to our table by mistake. I could see the spot in the whipped cream missing. The austrian linzer torte was a bit dry. The creme brulee is delicious.

Joe’s the best! He’s attentive, personable, and smart. He knows a lot of historical facts about the tavern including the British Spymaster, Major John Andre. Definitely returning, he made our night a memorable one! Thank you!!

America historical building at its finest. Never would have thought this is where to find the oldest tavern in America. Stumbled upon this place an enjoyed the atmosphere and the local 76 brew was super tasty, very chocolate flavors in my opinion. Thanks for a great experience.

Exceedingly welcoming and engaging bartender who delivered excellent advice on appetizers and draft beers. Knows his history too. We’ll be back on Monday for live music.

I was brought here for Father's Day and there was a brunch buffet available. It was delicious. Being a vegetarian, there was still a lot available and I left stuffed. The vegetarian selection was scrambled eggs, home fries, Texas French toast, waffles, marinated mushrooms, eggplant Parm, rice, mashed potatoes, warm apple crisp, fruits, fruit salad, green salad, &c...
For meat, sausage, bacon, brisket, &c
Can't remember, it was a lot.
Bottomless mimosas as well.
Ample parking. Friendly service.
