Friendly baristas. Cute spot. The coffee, however, is not to my taste: burnt, acrid, astringent. It’s second wave coffee, Italy by way of Seattle, “dark roast.” Not for me, and not for you if you’re used to third wave coffee.

The coffee is truly great- clearly made with passion and heart- and I love the little gathering area in the garden behind the hotel. You can text to order ahead if you don’t have time to wait. So convenient!

My partner and I love exploring different parts of NY state. Our usual hotel in a different area was totally booked so after some research and careful consideration, we decided to book a stay at Hotel Tivoli. Even though we knew from the reviews that this was going to be a very lovely hotel, Hotel Tivoli and its staff really exceeded our expectations.
