We are patrons since Gio Batta opened. The wonderful atmosphere, Francesco's lovingly-crafted & beautiful foods, and the excellent, attentive and well-trained staff combine to make this our go-to restaurant in Tivoli, and always a dinner visit when we're in the area. You'll taste the love, and whatever your meal selection you can't go wrong. Enjoy!
They charge 18% operation fee + tax instead of tips. It seems this restaurant is on the anti-tip movement. I agreed with that mind, but that mind affected the service mind also, I guess. The employees (about 10 or fewer people) eat and chat while only 2 tables of customers(4 people) have dinner quietly. I had never seen this kind of scene before at the restaurant. I feel I was uninvited guest of their party.

I recently visited the area for the second time in three years and am not sure why I don't go more often! Friend and I sat outside and enjoyed aperol spritzes, chunks of parm, prosciutto, calamari and their penne arrabbiata. We left satisfied and with leftovers! All the servers were so sweet. The arrabbiata was deeply flavorful and spicy, the best I've had since I visited Rome. With two drinks each the bill was high but nothing unexpected from a high quality restaurant....
