Got the Schweinshaxe and it was very good. Portion was smaller than expected & what I got last time elsewhere (which was actually a decade ago on the other side of the planet) but reasonable for the price and was about the right size for a guy who's not hungry. Servers and decorations were nice.

Food was amazing (my daughter ate the whole schnitzel herself.
The decoration and art on walls is beautiful too. All deserts we tried were phenomenal and made in house.

Drove up and as we parked they turned off the lights @ 8:10 when open until 9!
in response to the owner. Closing early and price increases etc etc are not the issue. If your workers see a customer pull in, speak to them. Say hi, thanks for coming but unfortunately we're closing early...well see you next time. Do not run inside and turn the lights off as they walk up to your establishment..... poor customer service/interaction. you respond here quickly....change your business profile to state you may close early....etc etc.
I have mixed feelings about this place. I hate to say anything bad. We were there on a holiday weekend. They were out of the chicken liver apperltizer and ot of sauerbraten. I went there for sauerbraten. My wife's Jaeger Schnitzel had hardly any brown sauce, but it was crisp. The entre I ordered was a ham hock Schweinshaxe that I've never seen before and never will again. No sauerbraten, so I tried Schweinshaxe. It was narly and extremely salty. That's probably what it's supposed to be like.
Entrees are served without spatzle. So, after mine was served, I ordered a side of spatzle
