The best granola ever along with amazing baked goods! The granola is not too sweet, salty, soft, or crunchy. It’s just right and my go to over yogurt.

As MFK Fischer said to Julia Child at the 1959 cattail festival in Shreveport, Louisiana, "Corndogs isn't just corndogs." I gloweringly concur. In 2004, I consumed a raisin scone from this establishment, and to this day still wake up sweating every night, reaching for its glowing, crumbly excrescence as for a buoy from a tipping catamaran, only to woken by my manservant, Costello, who soothes me with the words, "Scone people got no feelings."

There aren’t enough stars here to give this local jewel of a bakery. The sticky buns are my favorite but you can’t go wrong. It has such a homey feel, I just love any occasion that brings me here. You can tell they really love what they do, my wish is that this bakery is always here, forever and ever.

Wow! We stayed 10 minutes away in an air bnb and stopped through town on a Sunday to investigate on our way home. Not much was open and we love baked goods. Walking up people were sitting and talking on the bench outside. Definitely inviting!Upon entering we knew from sight and smell we were in for a treat. With a few people ahead of us the line moved quickly. I asked the person who was helping us (David, whose last day was unfortunately today!) what he recommended. He was enthusiastic about all the products and shared his favorites. We bought many different items ranging from sandwich, to pastry, to bread snacks, to savory. This baker knows his dough. Flavorful, flakey or soft or hard when it’s supposed to be, the smell and flavor is impeccable. Danishes and sausage roll to die for. Tried the pretzel bun filled with cream cheese and I am about to forget about bagels!!I have yet to try the rest of what we got but the price is extremely reasonable and we are so excited about the products and atmosphere, we just had to leave a raving reviewDon’t miss out on this place!

It was fun coming here because it’s so well loved among my friends. The Victorian porch was a lovely place to take in the views, and the coffee, prosciutto sandwich, and lemon bar I ordered. Everything was delicious, and when I brought up a small issue with the coffee the barista took care of it right away. As I was sitting on the porch I overheard the manager coaching the barista about what had happened and the whole vibe felt encouraging and friendly. It’s good to know the whole operation is warm and communal!

Lemon bars, cinnamon rolls, scones, coffee…you can’t go wrong! And the bakery has a great, small town, everyone knows your name vibe. The kitchen is always busy pumping things out while you wait in line, so you never know what might be fresh out of the oven by the time it’s your turn to order- but you definitely know it will be delicious!

This establishment kindly caters to tourists* and not locals, as it is only open on the weekends. One day during the week would be nice?....
