I’m from the Bronx and the owners are amazing they are really great people. They have the best chocolate chip cookie I ever had me n my wife shared it. It was still moist when I got home from work and soft and the best blueberry muffin I ever had nice and warm. If you in the area grab some fresh cookies you won’t regret it I promise

Hardly any food for sale. Tiny store. Tivoli needs an actual grocery store.

They have great sausage rolls
I found a 1909 Honus Wagner Rookie card in my Wooloomooloo Breastplate Special. The "owners" offered me a free Jimson Weed soda for it but I gave it to the Carmelized Nunions down the road.

Most delicious lox on focaccia bread I've ever had! Buttery, crispy deliciousness! And the blueberry muffin was great too.

Very friendly people. Great hospitality. Tuna salad is a little too salty for me. Appreciate them kindly giving me lemon
Cute little shop with a few tables out front. Seems like a local hangout. We had an egg sandwich, sausage roll and flat whites- all were stellar.

For a while, I came in regularly because they had at least one vegan sandwich and a rather good vegan cookie. Lately, they’ve had neither; pity.Grocery-wise, I feel like the selection is different every time I come in. At some point the items started skewing towards speciality Asian foods, which is neat and different but not particularly useful to me day-to-day.Coffee is hit or miss, and available only in petite sizes (unless you beg). They’re trying to do coffee well, but the staff seems unevenly trained on their espresso machine.Basically, I wish this place was more like Village Grocery in Kingston. It is not, however, so I pretty much forget about it, even though it’s way closer to home for me.

Got there a bit too late to get food, but a lovely sophisticated soda and collectible postcards definitely satisfied me.

Tivoli General is an absolute local gem. Serving up fresh flavors, focaccia that's top notch and coffee that's on point. The breakfast sandwich is a real treat and lunch isn't to be missed. The produce section is stacked with well curated delicacies with influences from all over the world. To top it all off the owners are super welcoming and engaging .. don't miss this spot when you're in Tivoli.

As a sandwich lover, I can say with confidence that the sandwiches here are absolutely first rate. The fantastic homemade focaccia has an unusual crisp crust that holds it all together but cracks perfectly as you bite in. Ingredients and ratios are also great. Coffee was really solid too. Paired with the warm and friendly proprietors, a great experience!
