Classy, yummy Irish bar food, comfortable neighborhood pub atmosphere. I had cottage pie (like shepherd's but beef instead of lamb) and a Smithwick's and was very happy. All my favorite songs on their playlist. Yeah I'm going back. Not too loud at 8 on a Saturday but was filling up as I left.

The bartender was sub par. If you’re going to have an establishment in this day and age and wait until the margs hit the table to reveal you’re cash only... how disrespectful and presumptuous that the average American carries hard cash nowadays — prove me wrong. I’ll wait. Period.

Lovely! Great craft beers as well as incredible whiskey selection (over 100+!?!). If you don't know your whiskeys, like me... owner is very gracious about advice on where to start. Plus, recommends reasonable starter prices rather than taking advantage of someone not savvy. However, if you do know your drink, then ask for the special list.

After a year I'm just seeing that I didn't put any information for my bad rating so here ya go. Never had such a rude encounter in my life. The bartender/owner was busy serving the busy atmosphere, and me and my friend were starting to feel like he was getting to everyone except us, and when I politely tried to get his attention with "excuse me" he responded with "shut up, shut up you see I'm very busy I will get to you when I can" and I of course didn't respond pleasantly and told him he doesn't know me and he responded with "I don't want to know you" . Would never come back to this establishment and felt very discriminated against. It was just senseless and uncalled for.

Local pub with a very cozy feel. I suggest getting a beer because the mixed drinks aren’t really worth it. Karaoke night is such a hit and good fun.

Very puzzling experience. The website says opening at 5:00p but we arrived on 3/2 at 5:50 to a locked door and told they weren't opening for another 10 minutes and the door was relocked. At 6:00 the outside lights were turned on but the door remained lockedWe sat in the car and watched several people try the door and leave. By 6:20 we gave up and left as well. The whole time the bartender was reading something behind the bar and totally ignoring the door, the person who initially opened the door to tell us they weren't open yet never reappeared. Not the Irish hospitality we hoped for and unfortunate as we were there to review the place for members of a local whiskey club. Can't comment on anything else as we never got in the door!

I was excited to take my husband to check this pub out after seeing it reviewed in Hudson Valley Magazine. The website states it opens at 5:00p but when we arrived on 3/2/23 at 5:50 the door was still locked and we were told they didn't open for another 10 minutes and the door was locked again. At 6:00 the outside lights turned on but no one came to unlock the door. Over the course of the next 15 minutes we watched several other people come, try the door and leave. By 6:20 we left as well as we did not feel inclined to beg for entry and went elsewhere for dinner. Not the Irish hospitality that we would have expected and the experience was dubious at best. Too bad as my husband hosts a local whiskey club together with a Spirits merchant and was hoping to share a good review with the members.
