amazing
Hiatorical and cozy!!
Conference setup was done on time.
Outstanding service. Clean, efficient rooms with all required mod cons. A 3 star hotel that acts like a 5 star hotel. Note in summer Outlook lodge rooms view of the Hudson obscured by trees.
Awesome staff nice rooms beautiful place to be
Shower products were high quality.
Not thrilled with the restaurant. Very overpriced and not that great food. The good thing is that its in the hotel that’s been there since the early 1900’s. It wasn’t the big restaurant it was on the second floor next to the tea brunch. It had a smaller menu. We sat outside which was very nice. My receipt said it was the 1915 restaurant but it wasn’t the one with the better menu. Just wanted to clarify that.
Conference team was reliable.

Bear Mountain Inn is a beautiful place to stay! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is excellent, and the location can’t be beat. 🌲🏞️ It’s peaceful, scenic, and close to great trails and outdoor activities.
Perfect for a solo getaway, business trip, or even a relaxing weekend. The value you get for the price is outstanding—I’d definitely stay here again!

The area surrounding the Inn is great. It’s absolutely beautiful and would be great for hiking. However the Inn itself (we stayed in a lodge queen room) was horrible for the price we paid. The room was tiny, especially the bathroom. You couldn’t open the door all the way because it would hit the sink and my husband (6ft 2in tall) had a hard time. His knees hit the wall when using the toilet. The room was clean but beat up.
Do not eat at 19/15 restaurant. The service was horrible as was the food. A couple who ordered before us never got their food after 2 hours. We told them it was for the better because the food was lukewarm and tasteless. If you like risking food poisoning, spending a lot of money, and wasting time, you’ll love the restaurant.
I do not suggest this Inn or restaurant. I’d fine somewhere else to stay.
Nice place for a weekend getaway but wish there were better food options. Hikers Cafe is very basic and we waited 30+ mins for a pretzel that ended up being burnt. Then waited almost 2 hours for food at Restaurant 1915 and then left and ordered pizza delivery instead. Brunch was fine but overpriced. If the food places onsite were better, we would’ve had a much better overall stay.
Just great!
The Personnel at this hotel probably has the WORST manners I have ever witnessed in Hospitality. I’ve been going to this hotel for 30 years and simply needed the Restroom. They yelled at me in an inappropriate tone and pointed towards the carousel across the meadow. If they only want hotel guests to use the facilities, explain the situation in a respectful, more hospitable tone. My friends, family and my husband chose Mohonk Mt. Same money, nicer more professional staff. Plus, there is much more to do there than just hiking. I won’t be hiking there anymore either! I’m So Disgusted with the Way We Were Treated!!!!!!
