My partner tried to take me to drinks and appetizers after our boating tour, however the manager’s tone was quite hostile. There was much confusion about parking given their website, and an unfortunate tone of elitism regarding my partner’s working class look that I as an appointed political figure, and daughter of circuit board manufacturing pioneers have never before seen at such an establishment.

It is safe to say given this gross customer service I witness towards my partner I will never try to come here again. And if you, like me, value integrity and interpersonal safety with every customer service experience- I’m not sure the view is worth it.

The Inn at Taughannock Falls was perfect for our three-night stay. We had the Garden Room, which overlooked the garden and Enhancement tent and the lake. This corner room has tons of light from five windows, ample space, and was very comfortable. Although the room has a very large bureau for clothes, we would have liked someplace to hang our clothes to air them out after hiking. The free breakfast in the morning consists of scrambled eggs, the most delicious fried potatoes, toast, bagels, pastries, yogurt, fruit, granola, coffee, and juices. The restaurant was open for dinner on our last day and the food was excellent. On Tuesday when the restaurant is closed they have an event in the garden where they offer burgers, beer, and live music. The location is within walking distance of Taughannock Falls, which is definitely worth seeing, and driving to Ithaca and the other surrounding falls and parks only takes about twenty-five minutes. The staff are very helpful all throughout the day. We highly recommend this Inn and would definitely stay here again.

We hosted my daughter's wedding at the Inn. This is a beautiful location! We had 180 guests, accommodated easily in their tent. The weather did not cooperate, but the tent was toasty warm with the heaters. The food was amazing and exceeded my expectations! From the appetizers to the main course--not your disappointing wedding food--this food rivaled your best steak house! The staff was plentiful and helpful! The venue on Lake Cayuga is so picturesque! I highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting a finger lakes/ Ithaca wedding!
The rooms at the Inn are comfortable and beautiful. The continental breakfast at the Inn is so tasty--toast, eggs, sausage, pastries, all inviting!
The location is beautiful with surrounding hiking trails and of course the lake for swimming and boating.
If had to plan this wedding again I would plan it here!

Very good shower with good pressure, beds are ok (soft), ac, jacuzzi and pillows are ok too. Our table was very wobbly and even after fixing still was. The night was quiet and we had a good sleep. Wifi is fast. Staff friendly and helpful but reserved. Breakfast is limited.

Had a wonderful stay here at the Inn at Taughannock Falls! Stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed another. Our room (Garden Room) was lovely. Located on the 2nd floor of the main building had great views of Cayuga lake as well as gardens and grounds surrounding. A nice sized room although bathroom was rather small but we made out fine. No fridge or TV in the room but that wasn't a big deal as who needs to watch TV with so much beauty and nature surrounding us!? Nice patio firepit seating areas to enjoy with a cocktail in hand from the small bar in the Inn. Staff could not have been nicer and also included was a buffet breakfast each morning that was delish
..scrambled eggs, sausage, potatos obrien, pastries, toast, english muffins, bagels, croissants, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and assorted juices. Got our day off to a great start. There is also a 24 hour coffee and tea station right on 2nd floor and a lovely sitting room overlooking the lake to enjoy your beverage.Very easy check in and checkout process. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again someday. Highly recommend!👍
Ps just a note that there are 16 steps to get to 2nd floor for those who may have mobility concerns.... no elevator

Beautiful views, and property. Service was excellent. Food was below average unfortunately. Clam chowder says it comes with focaccia, and it came with bread chips I could buy from a store. Pasta says it’s homemade but it definitely is not.

We made the dinner reservation with 50$ per person deposit, the menu they brought to us has NONONO price for any dish, since we made deposit, so we asked what is included, we were told Appetizer/Main Dish/Desert for each of us, they made it appear to be fixed price and that is what they told us over the phone when we made reservation anyway. At the end, it was a BIG surprise with the BILL, absolutely CHEATING, 3-4 times more expensive. PLEASE ASK and let them bring you the menu with PRICE clearly written down, dont give them a chance to cheat you!!!! I will re-post above next years before the graduation season for next 10 years so people wont be trapped as what happened to us.

this was the most wonderful inn! we were super lucky and spent two nights in the falls suite, with its private balcony and heated bathroom floor! breakfast was excellent and we never left hungry. the front desk was beyond sweet in waiting for is to arrive late and stayed to see is check in. the bed was so comfortable and that showed was relaxing. enjoying the cool night out by the firepit and the breathtaking sunrise over the lake. the hike to the falls was easy and beautiful. we are already planning to come back when the restaurant and food truck are up and running.

A classic northern inn. Beautiful setting overlooking the lake and impeccably maintained. I love the dinning area with the large windows and the multi-level seating giving you a great view of the lake. The staff was attentive and friendly. The continental breakfast was so much more than that. The server made it her mission that we would not leave hungry. The room we selected in the Lakeview building was spacious and well appointed. It's quiet and incredibly dark without the light you normally have in the city. We look forward to our next stay.

Rooms: Well appointed, clean and comfortable.

Nearby activities: Waterfalls & wineries

Food and drinks: The dining room is beautiful with the large windows and multi-level seating. The breakfast was more than we expected.

I was recently at the Inn at Taughannock Falls and I couldn’t wait to write this review! From the moment I checked in till the moment we checked out, everything was just perfect. We made our way to the room which was super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dinner at the Inn for two evenings and the restaurant staff was beyond amazing! Extra compliment to Julie the restaurant manager! Breakfast each morning was a pleasant treat as well. I will say that this property is very well taken care of down to the leaves being raked away from a chair so you can sit. The fire pits during the evening hours with the music all around was just beautiful.
Thank you again for a great stay!
