Very cute neighborhood. This cozy restaurant feels like you're in Mexico. Loved the wall paintings. The service was out of this world. These beautiful cocktails have to be made by a professional mixologist! I would just go there to taste all the delicious cocktails on the menu. I really loved this authentic Mexican food. The Queso Fundido, Chihuahua queso with chorizo was yummy. My favorite was the Tamales with shredded chicken. These were probably the best Tamales I've ever tried. Even just the Guacamole and Chips were excellent. The Steak Fajitas were also delicious. Must try!

They incorrectly charge sales tax on gift cards purchased. I do not mean the 3% credit card fee, I mean the 8% sales tax. Gift cards are not considered goods for sale. Instead, it is a purchase meant to be used for payment in the future. Therefore, gift cards should not have sales tax charged on them. As an accountant I explained that to the manager but he did not understand. So in short he taxing the purchaser of the gift and the person who uses it.. I assume he pockets that extra tax charged. I recommend he checks with his accountant before he gets audited.

This is most definitely authentic mexican food. It's like they flew the food in first class from Mexico. The waitress was full of energy and extremely pleasant. The owner came over to see how things where. They have hand crafted drinks with natural juice. I definitely recommend stopping by for a drink or dinning in. There mole sauce is home made. I will definitely be back.

Food was okay. Beware of pricing - menu says one price, then you get charged extra. Queso fundido clearly states Chihuahua queso, chorizo, and corn tortillas for $9 on menu. Received it with only cheese and 4 small tortillas. When asked where the chorizo was, we were told we had to ask for it. They then charged $10, a dollar more, even without the chorizo.

This restaurant USED to be a great local place with terrific sangria and very good food. I would go there at least twice a month. However, it has changed... I'm not sure if it's new management or just a re- do of their business. They have changed everything- the food is just "ok" - the sangria is definitely cheaply made and tastes like fruit punch - and the ambiance is not as authentic, with very NON Mexican/Hispanic music. If they are trying to be "trendy" they lost me as a customer. There are many other Mexican restaurants nearby and this one WAS special .. but there seems to be PROBLEMS with Poblano . They should return to what made them so popular and stop cutting corners or they will find themselves empty of their customers.
Y'all, this place is so good. It appeased my Texas tastes. The salsa is amazing and the burrito enchilado with guajillo sauce is seriously amazing. Drinks are bomb

We go to this place all the time, it is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious as well as the drinks… The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is really comfortable… if you have never been here yet, I would highly recommend trying this place! … and you must try their chicken soup !!
The best local authentic Mexican cuisine!! I especially enjoy their chicken soup with a Mexican flare. Amazingly delicious with chunks of chicken. Yummy! Definitely try them out
