I love this place! The food is simply excellent, and prices can reflect that. The service is excellent, though, despite efficiency, the care with food preparation can result in a bit of a wait. The one negative is that there is not much seating if you're interested in eating on premises.

1st of all, we’re FREQUENT customers!
I asked for a Chocolate Donut aka Boston Kreme to go for my daughter. I got a Jelly Donut. I went back to exchange after we got home. They blamed on me that I asked for the Jelly Donut. Logically speaking, I would not comeback to exchange if I asked for the Jelly one. The server was talking to her team leader/boss at the time I asked for it.
She could have simply said I am sorry or I missed heard you!

Found this while visiting a friend in the area. Really no need to add another 5 stars review but love to give Martine's a shout out for bringing great pastries, cakes and sandwiches to the neighborhood where everyone can hang out and feast, both for the tummy and the eyes 🥰. Thanks for being here 🤩

I ordered the tuna salad sandwich to go. The presentation was beautiful, the sandwich was delicious. Coleslaw tasty. The only item missing was chips. I will purchase again.

They’re always super understaffed. I understand it may be extra busy on weekends but I usually come in on a weekday and there aren’t enough employees, so the service is very slow. Usually there is a long line but no one is at the register since they are helping make drinks/restock containers. But the workers are friendly, despite seeming very stressed out lol. Good bread and pastries, but it’s hardly worth it.
Ordered a chocolate pie. Gave a tip. Received a banana pie.
Food is great but the shop is chaotic. Definitely check to see that your order is correct.
I wish they would do advanced orders to prevent this. Their site calls their kitchen a well oiled machine but my banana pie begs to differ.

Items are decent to good. Just bought a large birthday cake that needs to be transported into the city for a surprise birthday and was told they ran out of big bags (Mind you it was 10am). So I had to sit in the car with a heavy cake balancing on my lap. Unacceptable. Would not order for large events. Fine if you need something quick, easy, and LIGHT! Tuckahoe location.

I recently stopped by Martine Bakery in Tuckahoe and was blown away! The highlight of my visit was definitely the jelly donuts – they were absolutely perfect, with a soft, pillowy texture and just the right amount of filling. You can tell everything is made fresh, and the quality really stands out.
The bakery itself has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain a few of the other items they offer. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their pastries – but those jelly donuts are a must-try! Highly recommended.
