Disappointing Experience - Misleading Hours and Poor Service
We drove 15 miles to try Molcajete after seeing online that it was open until 10 PM. We arrived at 8:50 PM and waited about 10 minutes to be seated, only to be told the kitchen was already closed. When we politely suggested updating the online hours to avoid confusion for future guests, we were met with an unnecessarily rude and dismissive response: “I don’t make the rules.”
The only positive was the decent music playing in the background. Unfortunately, due to the poor communication and dismissive attitude, we won’t be returning.

The food is amazing! I had the vegetarian quesadillas, side of black beans, and guacamole. The chips were hot and right out of the oven. Everything was delicious. The best vegetarian quesadilla I've ever had! Only two photos because we ate just about everything.

Delightful place for a low-key but high quality meal. Attentive waitstaff. Full bar with creative drinks (jalepeno in tequila? But it works). Not loud or noisy, and no kitchen sounds to dominate the conversation

Love our local restaurant in Tuxedo Park NY! Owners are so nice and accommodating! Food is really good, very authentic and the horchata is delicious! Full bar and the specialty dish is awesome!

Restaurantji Recommends
Terrible service and extremely over-priced. Won't be back anytime soon. Also, they refused to have two separate bills for a party of four. Check your bill for double-billing of items.

BEWARE of this restaurant!
"We initially planned to have an enjoyable lunch; however, our experience was disappointing.
The quality of the food was poor, and the customer service was among the worst we have encountered.
To avoid a similarly negative experience, I recommend not patronizing this restaurant, as it does not meet the minimal acceptable standards."

Food was terrible. Not very many restaurants have to the ability to mess up chips and salsa...but they sure did. Started out with stale chips and ketchup salsa. The beans were unseasoned. The rice was crunchy. Will not be back.

The best guacamole in town, try their birria tacos with Oaxaca cheese on top and their aguas frescas.

I ordered my takeout order 30 minutes before 12, and had to wait inside for ten more minutes, just to find that my plantains that I ordered and was charged for weren’t there
