Aside from Nanuet Hotel pizza, this is some of the best pizza around. And even comparing the two isn't fair because they're 2 different styles, but both are delicious in their own way. Steves has a side of bread with marinara which i highly recommended. Their personal pies are just the right size, but you might not have any left overs.

I ate there today with my family after visiting the Ren Fair. The positives: Amazing pizza. Ridiculously good pizza. Next time I am nearby I will be stopping in again. No question. It’s that good. Cons: The service was very spotty. It wasn’t that busy (there were several tables still open). I’m just saying, we ordered our food, it was delivered, and about 90% consumed before I got my first glass of water that I asked for. And this was after asking the waitress multiple times for it. Don’t get me wrong, the servers were very friendly, but we just couldn’t get the things we asked for. The only reason I got water for my meal was because my wife went up to the waitress by the kitchen and requested that she just give her a bottle and the glass. My wife brought the drinks back to us so we could have refreshment.
I seriously hope that this was just an off night or a fluke. Things happen, I get it.
I’m still coming back, though. The pizza is that good.

Best pizza for miles around. Always make a pit stop here when traveling through the area. Not too far from Nanuet NY. Super friendly staff. Very modern dining room and pizza oven.

The food here is really good! The pizza is all great and we enjoyed it. The best thing on the menu though is the wings! Definitely order those. Great flavor and great sauce. The prices are pretty high for this area, it’s more like NYC prices. After we each got an app, a drink, and a pizza, it really added up. More than I was planning to spend, and for that reason I don’t foresee us going here often. But I wasn’t disappointed for this visit and very much enjoyed my meal.

Perfect crust in brick oven, excellent flavor, pleasing combinations, with good portion sizes. The wings had a balanced amount of heat and flavor with kick. Best pizza in the area, hands down.
Their meatball sandwich is the reason I initially got hooked and knew the pizza had to be worth the calories.

You can tell that the owner put a lot of time, money and effort into this place. Charming, cute, great ambiance. I've driven past here a few times due to the NYS Thruway being backed up - otherwise I'd never know about it. Finally had a chance to actually go. Food was great. Place is impressive for where it is. My only real complaint: the prices for the food. While the pizza is impressive, it is NOT $25.00 impressive. We are in Tuxedo, NY...not Manhattan. That's $25.00 for a "personal pie". Would I go back? Sure. However, those menu prices make it prohibitive for anything other than a few times a year. Unfortunate because the place is really that nice.
Parking: We had the tre-colori pizza that was also amazing. They only have one bathroom so it could be wait if the place is crowded but the staff is very courteous and alert. The owner, Steve is also the chef so that was unique and pleasant to have him bake our pizza.
Went in the middle of the week, food was great, pizza was ok, a bit heavy.
****1 year update. Pizza is still heavy ( not my taste) , I won’t be going back.

Tonight my family went to Steve’s for dinner and I was immediately impressed with the beautiful, well appointed and welcoming atmosphere. It has an authentic feel with the twin wood-fired ovens where you walk in and see the kitchen in action. We were welcomed like family. It strikes a balance of feeling upscale and accessible. The tables all had fresh, yellow/red tinted roses and real candlelights. The attention to detail and care was evident everywhere. The food was amazing and the service was great. We got an assortment of pizzas, sandwiches, the wood fired wings and dessert. I ate my whole pizza because it was delicious, but it could easily be shared with two people. My one son ate 24 wood fired wings and loved them. My other son loved his meatball sub, and the brownie with vanilla ice cream. My mom Was raving about the coffee. We went on the early side. There was a birthday where folks joined in the singing, and seems like a popular Ren Faire stop. Looking forward to eating here the next time we visit the area.
Can’t say enough good things about Steve’s. Our server, Vanessa, was so kind and attentive. She made us feel so welcome as soon as we walked in the door. The food was freshly made and high quality! It’s definetely worth the trip from the city on a weekend.
