Sadly this is one of my favorite restaurants in this area. But I must say with every single order there is error. I do not know if it's an issue of English second language but that would be my guess tonight I had a woman who made a plane cheeseburger medium rare with bacon lettuce tomato and onion and condiments sadly when I stated it is supposed to be plain she became upset with me when I asked for the owner she became more upset with me when I stated I wanted it done correctly and I wanted the charge voided she stated I said I wanted to leave I said no I just want the charge corrected to the right price after waiting 30 minutes for the order to be ready in the first place I waited another 20 for it to come for them to try to charge me the same price again and then to get home and find no bacon but still lettuce tomato and onion. Again I state that sadly I like their food, but when 10 out of 10 orders have been incorrect and they now get an attitude with me for their error it is just too much only go here if you have time to bring a Spanish-English translation dictionary or have the patience of a saintKid-friendliness: They seem to be a nice family place if you can deal with the error

Well decorated, especially for the holidays. Friendly personal service. The food and meals are tasty, and for years theyve supplied various meals for mod3rately sized parties ive had at home.Parking: Small niy ample lot, all withom 20 feet of the entramce
I've passed by this place forever and tonite was the first time stopping in. Straight forward Italian menu, serving size just right, price in line with surrounding restaurants, waiter pleasant and overall good!

how do you f--k up a pizza a different way EVERYTIME you make one. i've never bothered to complain about it before because it was always "good enough" despite whatever sauce, cheese, or (actually the crust is the ONE consistent thing) issue, but this is just it for me. for LITERALLY the fifth time-- ordered extra sauce on the pizza, ended up with DOUBLE THE CHEESE AND EVEN LESS SAUCE THAN USUAL, so F--K YOU TOO i guess, because i can't see how it's not intentional. for the THIRD time-- missing toppings (this time all :) ). and as a nice little cherry on top, half the pizza, was off the pizza laying in the side of the box. i seriously don't remember being anything but polite if not literally fearful to bring up any individual issue so far because this location has been decent, convenient, and everyone is pretty nice, but i can't help but think the two times in 3 years i've EVER brought something up (again, never about the pizza) has landed me on some sort of sh-t list or something because if not WTF is going on in your kitchen?? either way, i'm sadly done ordering from here. when the order's right, it's pretty good but when it isn't it's severely f--ked up

Multiple occasions of them leaving items out of our order and still charging.This past one was what urged me to write a review. We ordered and eggplant parm for my vegetarian mother in-law. We received a piece of eggplant that was on top of chicken parm. Another piece was wrapped around a piece of chicken parm.Food is hit or miss. One night it’s fantastic then the next night it tastes like they scrapped the bottom of a week old tray of food.

Great place friendly owner. Anytime I go to Kingston this is my go to for food. Get the chicken parm and penne vodka.

I’m not a review writing kind of guy but something happened this evening that made me realize that this review was long overdue.I have been a patron of La Roma’s since they opened many years ago. From a cold beer at the bar after work to first dates and family gatherings La Roma’s has always been a relaxed atmosphere, delicious food favorite for myself and my local family and friends.I was a single Dad for several years and La Roma’s was our go to spot for me and my son, usually weekly if not more during that time. It’s been awhile since then but tonight when I called in a take out order I recognized that the person taking my order was the owner of La Roma’s. I did not give my name only my address and he immediately knew who I was and asked how and where I’d been. I explained that I had recently married and that my single Dad days were over, but that I sincerely appreciated his keeping myself and my son alive for all those years lol.With my order tonight he sent me a bottle of wine to congratulate me. That really meant alot to me!!! So much more than the value of the wine!La Roma’s is the definition of a family owned and operated, built from the ground up, local businesses. It’s clear the moment that you walk in the door and your greeted with a warm smile from the owner, his family and staff each and every time. Its clear in the food quality, customer service and the atmosphere.Thank you for the wine my friend!! Cheers to many more years of doing business with my favorite local restaurant!!
