Quality of food & service did not diminish, even on a busy Valentine's night! We sat downstairs but upstairs looked a lot more manic - not sure if they would have had the same experience

Great hidden gem in Valhalla ! We had driven by this place numerous times but had never eaten there. We decided to go In tonight for dinner and we are so happy we did. First, they have a large free parking lot. Second, you are warmly greeted inside the front door by the hostess who took us to our table. Third, the restaurant is very cozy and decorated very nicely. They have a small bar area with a flat screen that had sports on. The restaurant is comfortable and the tables are not right on top of each other. We were only sitting for maybe 30 seconds when the first staff member came over and greeted us and filled out water glasses. Our drink order was taken immediately and we were given time to look at the menu. A staff member came over and lit the lamp on the table which gave a nice ambiance. Then we were provided with warm sliced Italian bread and a chick pea salad to spread on the bread. I asked for oil and vinegar and was brought a beautiful glass oil and vinegar holder. We both decided to do the prix fix menu. $29.99 you get a three course menu starting with a bunch of apps to chose from. We got an order of mussels and an order of fresh mozzarella With prosciutto and roasted peppers with balsamic and pesto. The plates were a great size as well. We had chicken picatta and chicken Marsala. The plates came out with mash potatoes and vegetables. Then you are provided with a generous desert menu to chose your final course and a coffee or tea. Even though the dining room was busy the staff was on it and were constantly checking on us with a smile. House wine is only $7 and a Heineken 0 was only $4.50 They also don't rush you which is important to me.
This is a restaurant that knows how to care for their customers. From the food and drinks to the decor and the service, everything at Sergio's is top notch. If you have never been to Sergio's in Valhalla so yourself a favor and stop in for a meal because I know we will be going back many times. When we were leaving we were sincerely thanked by a gentleman who I took to either be the manager for the owner. You could tell that his thank you was sincere, it was a nice ending to a great meal

Sergios feels very Italian. There was a faint odor in the air like cigarettes and the food was phenomenal. Every so often a man would walk by holding a full fat can of Coca Cola. We had time to talk and weren't hounded to leave by the staff. It was wonderful.

Always a warm welcome on arrival and friendly efficient service that gives time to enjoy your meal. Excellent food and drink. Christmas decorations are completely over the top but great fun.

We are greatfull for Kostas (owner) fellow Greek Cypriot and the amazing time we had for my partners bday dinner . We have been at sergios few times and every moment is unique blended with absolute quality. Totally recommended!!!
