Valhalla Crossing is a very interesting restaurant built in a old train station. The atmosphere was wonderful. The service was excellent and food came very quickly. I had the Irish stew which was a huge portion and very delicious.

on October 3, 2025, I went to the restaurant After work with a couple of coworkers and I had two alcoholic drinks and an order of nachos. That’s all I had for dinner and the next day I was admitted to Phelps Hospital because of food poisoning. thankfully, none of my coworkers had the nachos. I will be pursuing a small claims case. attached is the nachos I had there.

Burger was great. It's a nice, cozy, dark environment. I ordered the Cajun jambalaya, and I didn't like it. The chicken tasted odd, and the shrimp smelled and tasted like fish tank water. I'm not sure if they're farm raised. Overall, I think it's a perfect place for basic comfort foods. I will visit again and order a burger next time.

Food was good. Service was fine. I don’t like eating as loud trains interrupt my meal but my kids enjoyed it.

Old casual family restaurant set partially in an old train car at the Valhalla train station. Many iterations over the years. We had not been there in 8 years. Pleasantly surprising, much better than I had recalled from the past. Really busy on a rainy Saturday night. Service was prompt and friendly. Many menu options. Food was tasty and plentiful, not fancy but satisfying. Reasonable prices.

A great historic railroad car and restaurant. Good solid, basic food with great service note that they can make a lot of food gluten-free, which is wonderful for celiac suffers

I had 40 minutes to spend while waiting for my train, so I decided to check out Valhalla Crossing.
I ordered The Crossing Signature Burger with coleslaw on the side. The burger was quite good, but the meat patty was unsalted. After adding some salt, the flavors immediately improved. It was quite a big burger, which was great, but it was too tall to comfortably take a bite.
I wasn't too thrilled with the coleslaw, as the vegetables were drowning in watery mayonnaise, and I don't think adding bell pepper was a good idea.
However, the service was excellent. The hostess and waitress were very nice and attentive.
Overall, I think it's a decent place and a nice spot to enjoy some food.
