Great place for after work drink.

My family and I just had lunch at Valhalla Crossing for the first and last time. Upon entering we were seated immediately however we noticed that the dining area was just about empty. Therefore we do not understand why our server seemed to be in a rush to get us out of there. She was very insistent on taking our orders within minutes of being seated and after asking her to give us a few more minutes to decide, she literally came back to our table 30 seconds later ready to take our order. This is the way she interacted with us the rest of our time there. The food was subpar. The orange chicken bowl was drenched in orange sauce and the rice was overcooked. Resembled overnight oats more than Asian food. My chicken cutlet was overcooked to the point I couldn’t chew parts of it and the onion rings were stale.

Awesome restaurantWe went in a Friday night- party of 4We enjoyed our meals : large pretzel was very good, burger, Cobb salad and stuffed shrimp very good with a good air serving. Hubby thought onion soup was salty but otherwise all was good. Our server Nicole was very pleasant. I’d return when in the area. Loved the atmosphere of the old rail cars

I went there last night and the food was ok but had a terrible server named Leo. He rarely came back to check on us. After we ordered cappucino, he came back 5 minutes later to tell us the machine was not working. Had the rum cassata cake and it had no flavoring of rum.

My favorite place to eat at when I'm extremely tired and hungry. The service here is very quick-- I've never had a bad server. The Buffalo Mac n cheese bowl is massive and gets straight to the point. Their Octoberfest menu is also great. Additionally, I will never pass up a big pretzel. Love coming here, love sitting in the train car interior even more.

Food was great! Had a large Pretzel and spring rolls as the appetizer. For dinner, the chile (with the added fresh jalapenos) was delicious, the hamburger was loaded and also delicious. Great choice of draft beers! Great ambiance! What a nice place for dinner and or drinks!

The main draw for Valhalla Crossing is the train. If you have kids, it can't be beat. The food is your standard American fare. Nothing to write home about, but their portions are huge. And I mean, huge. I can eat three or more times from a dish. My daughter loves looking at the train, but it can get noisy sometimes due to the music, plus people, plus the train. It's a lot. Overall, a comfy local spot that must be experienced.

It's a bar restaurant with confort food and specials; plenty of parking. The place is deceiving and quite large prices are fair . Food is good not amazing but good, we finished our plates but in similar places we've had better . Generous portions and out pretty quickly. Now for the service it was not stellar, waitress left a few times waiting in items or disappeared; a-shame she was kind just perhaps distracted. I cannot say this place will be my favorite but may try it again.

Nothing to write home about and extremely expensive. The waiter was friendly enough. The wings were cooked well, but were supposed to be spicy and weren’t, the Brussel were undercooked, the broccoli was bland, the spring rolls had mush inside, the chicken was dry but the salad dressing wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t voluntarily return.Parking: Two hour parking

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a reservation when we visited on December 29, 2023 — so no space was available in the “historic” section of Valhalla Crossing, which I understand is an original railroad club car. But our table was comfortable, our service was speedy and accurate, and the food was delicious.

My friend and I were served Captain Lawrence beer with mold in it, only realizing after we drank it. Shocked and concerned, we brought the issue to the owner's attention, hoping for a resolution. However, our concerns were hastily dismissed as the owner insisted the issue was merely yeast, which felt like a disregard for our genuine worries about the quality of the served beverages. Despite this unsettling experience, we found solace in the fact that the food, thankfully, met our expectations. In a subtle expression of our dissatisfaction, we still left a tip for the bartender.

Great family restaurant located right next to the metro north train tracks. My kids love coming here and sitting at one of the tables with the window facing the tracks to watch the trains go by. The food is fantastic and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.Parking: There are a few parking spots available right in front of the restaurant as well as a massive parking lot to the left of it.Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring kids. My little ones love watching the train go by, the wait staff can hear your order no matter how loud of a tantrum your toddler throws and they're quick to help clean up if/when theres a spill from a cup being knocked over.
