Good food. Cozy atmosphere. Nice server. And it's all about the trains baby! What's not to like?

We went as a very large party. Amazingly, the service was spot-on, orders correct, food delicious and plentiful. We chose Valhalla Station because it was highly recommended. Now we are highly recommending it too.

Always a great experience in the 4-5 times I've been. Restaurant is good pub food with some higher tier selections and the bar is comfortable and well stocked. Service had always been great.

Food portions are HUGE, you definitely get your money's worth and there is a lot to choose from. I tried the rice bowl which I can't imagine anyone finishing. It was recently spicy and very yummy. If I had to choose though, I'd get the burgers. They were fantastic.

That huge pretzel is my favorite! Good service and friendly staff. A large selection of food on the menu you can choose from.

Avoid ordering food from here to go. I work in the area and decide order some warm comfort food. Ordered online and my nachos and French onion soup were just disappointing. The presentation alone reflects the quality of food your getting. Nachos were bland partially cooked and thrown into a pizza box. French onion soup was color of oily chicken soup but with lots of onions. The soup was delivered in a small salad to go container. Overall I am sadly disappointed spent almost $30 for it to be thrown out because wasn't even edible.

Went to Valhalla Crossing with my girlfriend and thought it was pretty great. We were on the bar side which is really nice. Has that old school bar feel. The restaurant is right next to the train tracks which is pretty cool. The service and food was very good! We had a wrap and the BBQ ranch chicken salad. Both were very good and humongous! You get lots of food! Also you can choose whether you want fries, union rings or both! 5stars!! Great place! Go!

Every time I go, it gets better and better! Had a wonderful shepherds pie, a great burger, and a wonderful grill cheese sandwich with Italian wedding soup. The service is excellent, very cheery and welcoming when you get there. The food is superb, and the cocktails are great. Every time I go, I like it better and better.

This place has always been amazing! The food is always really good and the service was always nice. It's really fun to be able to eat lunch or dinner in a caboose of an old train. The area itself is just nice and it's literally right next to the train so if you're sitting in the right moment you can see the train pass by right outside the window. Inside it's really rustic looking and it's just overall really nice. Highly recommend sitting in the caboose as it's just a nice little experience. It's really great for kids!

This place really boggles my mind. The food is always SO GOOD but the service is always SO HORRIBLE. 3 Stars because that's the midway of 5 for food, 0 for service. No matter whether it's packed or just few few patrons, good luck getting the wait staff to check on you for drink refills (which are free) or if the food order was correct. We get more attention for the bus boys. My latest experience was last night..walk in to what seemed to be an annoyed hostess having to seat us,we sat in the bar area at a booth, 4 people at the bar, 1 booth already had 2 people seated and eating. 10 minutes goes by, no one had come to the table yet so I go back up to the hostess to see if anyone was going to help us, and she grumbled something to a waitress that was behind her. She finally came to take our drink order and thankfully we knew what we wanted to eat or we'd probably still be waiting there to have our order taken. A guy, his baby and wife come sit behind us, who apparently knew everyone working there. They were immediately greeted by the crabby woman bartender who came out from behind the bar, took their food and drink order and they were practically eating at the same time we got out food. The only time our waitress came back to us was when it was time for the check and then proceeded to ask if we wanted drink refills. The food is that good and large portions, that I will probably continue to torture myself by going back in the future. Update 7/18/18: went back last night and I feel like someone at The Crossing read my review because the experience was awesome from beginning to end. The hostess was friendly, waitress attentive and smileyNo complaints and the food of course was gigantic and delicious as usual!! I would bump them up to a solid 4 stars now. Update 12/14/18: I normally don't like ordering takeout but this place on a Friday night is impossible more than usual. So I left my passenger in the car in the train station parking lot, double parked while I went in for the order. $20 for the burger with cheese and onion strings..$15.95 plus $2 for a tiny cup of blue cheese dressing on the side. Burger was cold and the bun was huge compared to it, onion strings were on the side although they were supposed to be ON it, onion rings that come with it were cold. Check out the SAD picture of this $20 meal. The inconsistency of this place is beyond annoying!!!!! Since I've written my first post, they are now 1 for 3.

Hadn't been to this restaurant in quite some time and decided to try it again tonight. We were disappointed. We had wings for an appetizer and they were okay, but a bit pricey. I had the brisket special and was disappointed. First of all why serve mashed potatoes and corn, two starches? The plate was brimming with food, but the meat was too thick, too chewy and had no taste. The Shepherds Pie was good, but nothing special. Our waiter disappeared, never checked on us. The hostess was very nice and got us our check and wrapped up the leftovers. Don't think we will go back , except, maybe, for a burger.
