BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

Went here for a birthday, and in the special requests, I requested a happy birthday cake that they never brought out. The lights in the restaurant are way too dim. We could barely see the menu. Multiple people were using their flashlights while in the restaurant. Service takes a long time. We were waiting a while for the food, and even the mixed drinks took their time to come by the time we were served the drinks it was already watered down. Food is overpriced for the quality of steak we had gotten. I paid around $35.00 for a 15-oz steak, and about 9-oz of the steak was fat and tasted horrible. The steak also had no flavor at all. I had to use the salt and pepper they had at the table to try and season it, but it didn't do it any justice. They also have a QR code there to pay online, which doesn't work, and the employees had let me know to just give them the physical card. Another thing is they have options on the menu that the restaurant no longer has. I tried to order the "Lucky Ducky" drink, which they informed me was discontinued. All the hype around the reservation and special requests and everything was there just to lure us to the restaurant because the service and quality is horrible compared to the way it's advertised. I should've known by the name and to think of a Costco restaurant or Walmart restaurant. This would be literally what it's like at BJs restaurant, expecting grocery store quality, food, long wait times, and bad service.

Our server was Daniel, he was very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu when we return again we would probably request him. He was very friendly and polite.

I’m one of the regular customer of BJ’s Restaurant in Valley Stream, NY. One thing I noticed is that day by day there serves is going down. I eat dinner with my family tonight and the server name “Keishonnia Y (#169) She didn’t pay any attention to all of her tables. Everyone was in need of something. She wasn’t sure what she was doing. We don’t had any silverware, napkins, plates, drinks and she brought part of our appetizer and other food was missing then we waited for 15 minutes and still no silverware then our food got cold and after she we called her and she got mad. I understand she had other tables to take care but remembered I was there with kids and their food got cold and then I can’t even eat anything because no silverware. Omg…. What a horrible dining experience. My whole check was a waste. We don’t enjoy the food. I paid the bill and left the restaurant then we went to other restaurants for dinner. I really hope that management pay more attention to the service! Wait…. One more thing, no one care for pick up the appetizer plates, main food plates. Dessert was served while everything was on the table. It’s call 0% restaurant service.

1st time eating here with my friends from work, And last time we will consume anything , service was awful, waitress had an attitude, food was on the cold side, drinks was just such a disappointment, I wanted a nice drink tonite, they looked pretty but they only taste like sugary water, no enough alcohol , our party of 10 left the restaurant so sad , we could have gone to a better place to eat, I do not recommend this restaurant, from food, to service everything was awful, I won’t give this place a try again, sucks!

We had an amazing experience at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse thanks to our fantastic waitress, Carolyn! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. You can really tell she cares about her customers and loves what she does. Carolyn made our night — we’ll definitely be back and will be asking for her again!

Amazing everything i frequent here for special events alot and they have such sweet staff and yummy food one of my favorite waiters being alba she is sp sweet and I truly loved her energy and all she did for me❤️❤️❤️

My husband booked a reservation for 7:00 p.m. but we got seated at 7:40 p.m. waited for the waitress for about twenty minutes. I was able to place the order at last. ordered fried calamari as an appetizer, but all of the food was extremely salty, and there were only three pieces of calamari—mostly fried dough. The entree was delicious. However, I was somewhat dissatisfied with the Mother's Day service.

The service was a little slow.The server took a while to come back to ask us if we needed anything. Just did not feel like a warm welcoming. When we first went in, nobody asked us. Would we like a table or good evening? Or anything of the sort I had to say it was a party of four before any interaction occurred.

It was not a good experience. My cheese burger was overcooked, and there was no cheese on it. My Santa fe salad was bad. The chicken on it was luke warm, the salad part was made from old lettuce and the crunchy onion on top was soggy.
The Arnold Palmer lemonade was not bad though. The service was lack-luster at best.
