Nice people, nice roti skins, and pineapple tarts are delicious. Oxtail is pretty tasty but curry chicken is a major disappointment. I have ordered several times and each time the curry has been the same. As you dig into the chicken, it is white, dry, no taste, and no seasoning. Proper curry is juicy and flavorful, and seasoned to the bone. The curried potatoes are the same also, no taste and not even yellow within. I don't know if they are just baking or barely boiling the curry but curried foods need to be stewed down properly.

Friendly staff and clean. The food was amazing second time taking out from Homemade. Food is fresh and the pune tart was fill with pine and flakey. You have to try their dhall pouri was amazing nice and soft melt in your mouth. The egg ball was so flavorful no need for the sauce.

I visited Homemade kitchen roti shop and picked up some doubles, curry chicken and oil roti! The food was absolutely delicious and freshly made. The owner was pleasant and the restaurant clean. The also sell Caribbean sodas, tarts, bread, channa and mango achar! My favorite is definitely the doubles with pepper sauce as it had a nice kick! Will definitely be back.

The Roti's are huge! The taste is good. The prices are comparable to other west Indian spots in the neighborhood. They are opened daily, which is a plus. Will try other options eventually. Would like them to consider adding half portions of their selections for ordering. As much as we love our guyanese food, not all of us can eat a full portion.

Customer service is excellent. Nice to see a Caribbean spot opened in my neighborhood. Their dhalpuri skins are soft and delicious.

Visited from Orlando,Florida and was in the mood for some Guyanese homemade food for brunch. We ate here and they had a wide variety of food options from doubles, cook up, bake and salt fish and various curries paired with The best tasting roti I have had in a long time. We ended it all off with some very tasty Pastries that are homemade in store. The owner Serita is very hospitable and made sure we had everything and that we were well taken care of! If you are ever in the Queens/Long Island area I highly encourage you to stop in for a hearty meal
