I don’t know why it’s not better advertised, but Inatome has an excellent omakase offering, and it’s very reasonably priced. Nobu-san is super friendly, highly skilled, and inventive. Selection of fish is fresh and quite varied. Have been coming for omakase here for years now, he’s always taken care of us.

First, Anneliese (hope I spelled it correctly), and Nyla, are gems. They were hospitable, conscientious, always smiling, and ready to serve.

Second, we love the atmosphere from when you walk in. Hibachi restaurants can sometimes feel like it's a party you were not invited to. However, because they place the hibachi section in the rear, you have plenty of seating and privacy choices up front, including sitting at the sushi bar.

Third, food was excellent with great portions and extras I didn't expect. My brother and nephew had sushi, and I had the black cod dinner plate. The plate came with rice, a variety of tempura ? including 2 pieces of shrimp and other veggies, pickled veggies, and a wonderful mushroom & onion soup. We were so hungry when we got there that I completely forgot to take pics of the dishes ??‍♂️

Great presentation, service, and flavors. My brother wanted a stronger margarita? so you may want to specify your level of preference when you order. Their iced tea was good enough for me and my nephew. #LocalGem #GoodEats #theresthatfoodie

Went for hibachi with my wife for dinner on a day that was real feel 100 degrees. The rock garden and fountain outside was lovely and the interior was lovely too, but it was over 80 degrees (not by the grills). After checking in for our reservation, after a pushy walk-in shoved in front to demand the wait time for hibachi without having a reservation, we were sat 5 min later. This is when everything went to garbage. The temperature was almost unbearable by the grill and there was minimal ventilation. After taking the order The waiter spilled sauces from the appetizers on the grill. When the Chef came to cook he had to first clean the waiters mess, which was very burnt in by that point and took a lot of scrubbing leading to me getting sprayed on the arm with boiling hot water. Thankfully it was only a few large drops so nothing too major, an ice cube or two from my water glass and I was fine. However, no one in the place seamed to care enough to check if I was ok. Before any of this though, the pushy walk-in from earlier table was already getting served despite sitting 15 min after our reservation time. It was at that time the waiter informed us there were no chefs to serve our table and we would have to wait 15+ min. It wound up being 20 min of just sitting. By the time the chef did get to us it was so late (928pm when we had an 8pm reservation and were sat before 815 and ordered by 825) that they were close to closing so our entire meal from then on was rushed. There was no showmanship at all despite it occurring at all the other tables and despite the family we shared the table with requesting it. There was also NO Seasonings used ((salt, peper, and garlic) (it sat forgotten on the cart)) and minimal use of butter and soy leading to very bland flavoring. Finally almost all the food was over cooked or in the case of the egg for the fried rice undercooked, which was an odd concoction with the burnt rice. All and all this was a VERY disappointing experience especially for a meal that cost more than $150 for 2 people; 2 beers and 2 hibachi combos (chicken and filet, and chicken, shrimp and sirlon).

Normally a huge fan. Was very disappointed tonight though. Arrived to the restaurant about 830pm and our order was taken almost immediately. An hour goes by, and we still had no chef! Finally at about 935pm, we finally get a hibachi chef. Rice lacked flavor, vegetable portions were small. Couldn’t even give a free refill on the soda for the wait? Bad experience

This is a hiding gem in Valley Stream. The restaurant is super spacious. The service is great. The hibachi show takes about an hour because they cook it by item. Maybe some people wouldn't like the fact they have to wait until the end to eat the protein when all the rest of the food is getting cold. But that is why it is called hibachi.

Vegetarian options: Tofu options

Parking: Park inside the tire shop.

I saw a lot of reviews stating that this place is a hidden gem. The restaurant style is really beautiful and the staff is very nice. However the food was not great especially for hibachi. ExtremelyTasteless our rice was burned and hard. Not going back

Best hibachi hands down in all of Long Island and upstate NY. I usually get the Bamboo special.
