Very delicious food and very clean, I recommend it specially for kids. The service is excellent.

I don't have a lot of other halal food experiences to compare this to but I ordered a combo over rice, got all sauces except BBQ (that sounds weird given the food type), a pita to go with it and a lamb gyro. I meant to get a picture of the combo but some slob ate it all before I could. It was really good, though. I would definitely come back. The guy running it has a bit of a language barrier but it didn't seem to hinder his ability to make the order I placed.

Probably the best combo over rice I've had. At first I was a little skeptical because of the color of the meat (it was more red than usual), but after that first bite, WOW! Make sure you try it with the white sauce, bbq sauce and a little bit of hot and green sauce (it was my first time seeing that green sauce, I believe is cilantro based) Would definitely come back if I am in the area. Very food food and the owner is super nice!!

The chicken I was given was half the size I have been served in other Popeyes and was over cooked and dried out and very stringy I took it out so I couldn’t return it I will never purchase anything there again Ps. One star is to much for this restaurant Fred

If you ever want a great tasting meal that fills you up this is the spot. So i started writing this review yesterday after getting some food from Shah's. Well the food was so good I forgot about the review and was totally focused on the meal. I was needless to say very satisfied. I will be returning to Shah's... next time I will include pictures. They took mad long to make a burger like bruh. Plus only the chicken patty was hot everything else was cold. Smh even they chicken in the platter was a little warm smh. They could do way better.

The food was good here. The meat was fresh and cooked very well. The meat was tender. It was served with brown rice. The white sauce is tasty. It was located by the Liquor Warehouse in the mall. I like that the meat was not greasy. What is great is that you can order ahead on Grubhub. A lot of halal restaurants only allow you to have food deliver not picked up. This is a great option that you can order ahead to pick up.

This place is a food truck. Not sure it will be there at all time. It was at near the walmart parking lot. I had a lamb gyro and was filled with generous size of real fresh lamb. They make their own sauce and price was so cheap. Cash Only!

Update 12-26-19 We now live in PA but come back to Elmont often to see my mom & daughter. We NEVER Leave NY without stopping here to buy their Lamb Gyro & Chicken & Rice platter, both with the White Sauce. BEST FOOD from a cart I've ever eaten!!! Nice owner too & when you call in your food ahead of time, it WILL be ready & fresh when you get there!!!

Usually go to little neck for rice over lamb but felt a little lazy and decided to try Lucky food cart since it's right next to me and couldn't be happier with the food I got today. Great flavors and a nice kick in the hot sauce. I think it's $8 with a can of soda and by little neck it's $6 with soda but to save the trip I don't mind. Will definitely be picking up food from Lucky cart again !
