We used to buy cakes here for years and lately the cakes have not been as good. Cake was overly sweet, asked if we can downsize the cake 4-5 days before pickup date and was told it was possible. At pickup the downsizing was never communicated. Horrible communication

I wish my Mom read the reviews before she decided to purchase a stale and overpriced cake from here. My Father turned 72 and all he wanted was Bizcocho Dominicano. Not only was the customer service poor, there’s a lack of leadership and accountability.
My parents were impressed by the beauty of the cake, but it instantly fell apart upon cutting it. My Mom’s a baker so she saved face for my Father, but expressed her disappointment to me. My Father pretended to like the cake but complained about the excessive sweetness. The top layer of the cake was dry, burnt, and without flavor, while the bottom layer was wet (not moist) and pure diabetes. The pineapple filling was great, but the icing was a texture that feels wrong; it felt like Elmer’s glue and turns into an inedible rubber-like texture on day 2.
My Mom contacted the Bakery the next day. After being passed between clueless Cindy and Connie — who pretended to be confused and overwhelmed, they eventually told her to bring the day old cake back. My Mom was over it and I reminded her that some battles are not meant for us to fight. We accepted what happened and know that we’ll never return or recommend this establishment. I’m not sure the owner knows how to bake or run a business. Such a shame because I was looking for a new Bakery.

ZERO STARS! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! My sister ordered me a Dominican cake from here because that’s supposed to be their specialty. It was DRY and the dye made it SOUR. It was gross. It wasn’t a sour that you can tolerate it was SOURRRRR. After talking on the phone with the cashier and owner, we left the party to drop off the cake so they would believe us and resolve the problem. On MY BIRTHDAY. We get to the store (20minutes later) . The owner leaves knowing we are coming and the cashier is not helping. No full refund or new cake. JUST RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. DONT COME HERE. Waste of money. Horrible birthday experience.

This is the worst bakery I ever been to. The service is horrible. The cake itself was dry and the dye gave it a sour taste . Literally no one ate the cake . I took it back to the store and they were not willing to resolve the issue. Don’t waste your money ordering cakes from here!!

Is it possible to give 0 stars?I ordered a cake for my son's 4th birthday, and the day of they didn't have it made. They do not communicate with each other, and then they are extremely rude and condescending towards the customer. What a disappointment. It is truly an embarrassment to the dominican community.Keep those employees and swe how quickly you will go out of business. Our family will never use this bakery again.

This place is a joke. I place a cake order. The person took the order and then they closed for the day. I called many times to see what happened and no one answered. Very upset ? and disappointed

I had a great experience when my other half was in the mood for a desert fix on a Sunday after 5pm. Yes they were still open based on the web they were supposed to be closed, maybe I got lucky. They took credit cards which was another win. We really liked the Tres Leche in a jar. The cheesecake were good also. This is not a fancy shop but bakeries don't have to be in my opinion. My standard is clean and good quality products. They met the challenge very well. The Spanish lady at the register was very nice. I'll be back.
