Annie was so such pleasure walking me through the whole catering process answered any questions I had with no hesitation was accommodating in any changes or request needed. My employer recently hosted a Juneteenth celebration with food catered by this lovely establishment. Having been fortunate enough to grow up in a family with people who are amazing cooks, I had my reservations when I saw the gorgeous spread laid out at work. What are the odds this resembles any of the comfort food I was raised upon? No chance, right? Well I'm happy to say I haven't been this wrong about something in a long time. The food was exquisite! The spread included fried chicken, jerk chicken, fried fish, macaroni and cheese, rice and peas, and collard greens. I was too busy eating to snap any photos, but I highly recommend this business to anyone seeking quality soul food. Maybe they should consider opening up a sit-down restaurant 🤔

Where do I begin? Annie was so helpful and patient during the ordering process. She answered my questions and returned my calls almost immediately. She made recommendations and she made me feel very comfortable with my decision to utilize her services. Every single item was a hit! The pernil was a standout for the pork lovers, while the salmon stole the show for those who don’t eat meat. Everyone raved about the turkey meatballs and fried chicken.
The order also came with a fresh, plentiful salad and complimentary plates, napkins, and utensils, which definitely came in handy. Delivery was professional, courteous, and right on time. And the portions? Hefty doesn’t even begin to describe them. Being from the South, we serve generously, and even with everyone enjoying seconds, we still had leftovers.
Our guests are still talking about how flavorful and delicious everything was. The rasta pasta, mac & cheese, arroz con gandules Annie's green beans recommendation were Yummmmmmy!!!! But what meant the most to me was seeing my mom—who’s spent her life cooking for others—finally able to sit back, relax, and be served a beautifully prepared meal. She’s a retired professional cook who’s cooked for countless organizations and across many cuisines, and even she was thoroughly impressed.
We always pray over our meals, but this food felt like it came pre-blessed. Annie, thank you. May God continue to bless you, your team, and your business. We’ll definitely be ordering again for Mom’s birthday. You’re officially part of the family now—we trust and appreciate you deeply.

I cannot say enough good things about NJS. I’ve used their catering service multiple times and every single experience has been flawless. The food is always delish and beautifully presented. They are always professional and on time.

I made reservations to have Not Just Southern cater my recent repast. The food was fabulous. All of my guests were inquiring about the caterer and especially loved the salmon. If I have a need for catering in the future, I will definitely use them. Thank you Annie and your team.

I researched for my daughter's doctoral graduation party. Annie is super helpful and kind. The service was amazing. Everyone loved the food. We had the mac and cheese, fried chicken, garlic green beans and rasta pasta. Everything was cooked with love and delivered to us with a smile. Thank you!

My wife and I hired Not Jus Southern Southern Caterers to cater our baby shower on April 20th. From the beginning NJS maintained frequent and consistent communication with us. They addressed any concerns and went above and beyond in customer service in preparing for our event. We quickly set up a food tasting and were blown away by the taste of the food. We ordered a mix of Latin and southern cuisine, both were cooked to perfection.My wife and I were so blown away by the taste we booked them that day for our baby shower. NJS employs a highly capable and courteous staff that did a great job at the food tasting and the delivery. Everyone say my baby shower enjoyed the food plus there was plenty left over for people to take some food home. I think we all did!If you're looking for a caterer look no further than Not Jus Southern Caterers. You won't be disappointed!

Not Jus Southern made catering my office party so simple! Great service and the food (mac and cheese, green beans, pernil, and jerk chicken) were a big hit with our group of 35 people that had various dietary restrictions. Totally recommend!

Ordered the following for Christmas Eve dinner from Not Jus Southern: Candied Yams, Collard Greens, Salmon, BBQ Turkey Wings, Yellow Rice, Mac and Cheese, and Fried Chicken. Everyone could not stop raving about the food! The salmon, fried chicken and yams were handsdown everyone's favorite. My only issue is that the website was not mobile friendly so the prices were a bit off. Folks are on the run these days. Being mobile friendly is key.Food arrived got. Thankfully my husband and uncles were there to help the delivery person bring the food in.He forgot the plates and utensils and napkins. He went to the store to and paid out of his own pocket. That was great!I will be back for sure.

I had many catered events in the past but this was honestly the best catering business we ever had! Annie and her team was able to accommodate our event even though we placed the order the day before. They also donated more food for our non profit event to help feed my community! We had over 300 people attend my Thanksgiving event and everyone loved their food! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!
