I think the issue here is that they are understaffed. We came around 2pm and the wait was over 40 mins to sit 2 people meanwhile the actual location wasn't packed. When we finally was seated, the waitress didn't come to us. We sat for 20 mins. No water. No menus. Such a bad experience but like I said, I'm sure it's because they're understaffed. But communication is key. They could have said that instead of us wasting over an hour and 10 minsUpdate: April 2024Took 15 mins to get seated and maybe 20 mins to get the food. We had a pretty bad experience. We were told the wait would be about 25 min. The wait was way longer. We were not seated until I complained. Once we were seated, Tiara took our appetizer and drink orders. We ordered, and then she came back and asked if we would like to order. We ordered crap dip and then she stared that they were out of the crab dip. We said ok and that we will just take the calamari then. She came back again and asked us if we would like to order. We stated we already ordered. We waited a pretty long time to get drinks and appetizers. After we had our drinks and finished our appetizers, we had to wait about another 20 minutes before Tiara to come back stating that there was a mixup in the kitchen with table 12 regarding our meal. We had to wait about another 20 minutes before the meal arrived. Other tables around us had came and left before we were served We were in the restaurant for over three hours and the service was the worst that we have ever received at any restaurant ever in our lives. Last night I learned the hard way about the importance of good service. Having Tiara as or waitress had a direct negative impact on our experience and evening.

Our party of six visited to celebrate my nephew's birthday, when asked what he wanted to do, he stated "go to red lobster". We were seated after about five minutes, approached by a server almost immediately. He politely introduced himself, asked if we needed a few minutes to decide what we each wanted to order, and wether we wanted beverages right away or with our meals. Although I can't currently remember his name, our server was great, had everything exactly as each person ordered, explained anything that wasn't understood, suggested items on the menu,made every attempt to keep us pleased and comfortable. As usual the complimentary biscuits were delicious. Everyone's choices turned out great, tasty, hot, nicely presented and timely. Stuffed flounder, Atlantic Salmon, Shrimp scampi, Crispy dragon shrimp, Shrimp Alfredo, Ultimate feast, Fish & Chips, Strawberry Cheesecake, etc. The drinks were also quite good, Sangria, Long island iced tea etc. We enjoyed our time here, and will certainly go back again. ??

Although the food at Red Lobster was undeniably amazing, my overall experience was tarnished by the lack of attention and professionalism from our waiter, Ahsaki M. Despite enjoying two delicious meals and drinks, Ahsaki forgot our straws and seemed disinterested in providing good service. Moreover, when it came time to settle the bill at our table, I left a $5 tip for our two meals and two drinks. However, Ahsaki pointed out the suggested tip and gave me attitude, insinuating that it was mandatory then ended up saying "It is what it is". This behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the restaurant's service standards. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and honesty. While the food was exceptional, I will have to reconsider returning to this Red Lobster location at 606 West Sunrise Hwy due to the poor service and arrogance displayed by Ahsaki M.

I know it’s a popular place so of course the service is going be a little waiting time but for my first time going to red lobster (yes I know it’s crazy) the waiting time was insane and then waiting to get served was another waiting time, waiter was nice he just that we waited too long to be served..now for the atmosphere idk maybe where we sat had a little smell like wet carpet that needed to be dealt with “MY OPINION” but otherwise from that food was DAMN good it’s a thumbs up for me in that area.Parking: Not much to tell.it was in the back it’s a busy restaurant so of course parking going to be a little difficult..we parked just a few distance from the restaurant .Kid-friendliness: My daughter had something to keep her occupied while we waitedColoring and puzzles.
