Sonic Drive-In – Valley Stream This is easily one of the worst Sonic drive-through locations in New York. During the evening shift, customers are completely ignored. I sat at the drive-through for over 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging me or taking my order. No explanation, no communication—nothing. I eventually had to leave due to the lack of service. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service overall. Management seriously needs to address the evening shift staffing and responsiveness.

Disappointing Experience at Sonic Drive-In
I ordered a medium vanilla milkshake at the drive-thru, and it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. After waiting for 10 minutes behind two other cars, I finally got to the window only to be handed a milkshake that had the consistency of milk. It's clear that the shake had been sitting for too long, losing all its thickness and creaminess.
I understand that efficiency is important, but when it comes to ice cream products, they should be made fresh or at least timed better to avoid this issue. To make matters worse, when I politely asked the employee to remake the shake, her attitude was unpleasant and unprofessional.
This level of service is simply unacceptable, especially in a business that relies on customer satisfaction. Sonic, you need to do better.

I stood outside in the walk up kiosk, push the button and no one try to take my order. About 12 noon on a Friday September 19, 2025. I waited over five minutes. There were only two cars in the drive up kiosk so they were not busy. I eventually walk away.

Food is pretty good. I love the limeade slushies so much, they have a flavor very close to fresh squeezed juice. Lemonade slushie is good too but not as much flavor. Employees are friendly and nice, and are usually skating.
BEWARE: I recommend asking for a drink holder because for some reason last time my slushie cup made my cupholder SUPER sticky despite no spill. Regardless there's always a ton of condensation / ice on the outside of my slushies but it's soooo worth it.

I been coming to this location for many years. Saturday 8/16/25 was my worst day ever. I ordered mozzarella sticks and was charged 3 times. We went to speak with a manager at the time around 2 to 5 p.m. and was greeted with disrespect and racism although we both are immigrants. He stated they could not give a reciept. All the recipts yhat he did give stated cash although we paid with credit card. This Sonic is scamming their customers. Be careful. Sonic train staff member to be more polite and respect paying customers.

This is place perfect for having the absolute worst meal of your life and they Will get your order wrong.The manager is an absolute buffoon (shout out to Joshua - he is cool) this is insane they got my order wrong and I had to drive back and now it's over 30 mins and still haven't gotten my order. they forgot my chicken sandwich and the fries .. it's so simple like brah put the fries in the bag and fix the dam audio while you are at it too - it's mad loud.

Every time either myself or my husband has ordered from here, the order was incorrect. He asks for a double bacon burger, and he gets a single burger with no bacon. I ask for no cheese, I get a cheeseburger. They don't put much care into what's asked, not the quality of the product. I'm legit allergic to dairy, and cannot just scrap off the cheese or I'll get sick. I will not be ordering from this specific Sonic again.
