Nope nope nope Quality of food: you can find better elsewhere. My son wanted lemonade, the person behind the counter lifted the jar out from the fridge what seemed to be leftovers and added water and whatever else to it. She brought the drink over and it's tasted like rotted lemons in dirty water. The place was riddled with gnats. Just horrible! This was my second visit there by the way. First one wasn't too bad but that last one solidified the fact that I will never go back there. We ordered other items and it was a no.

Unfortunately, there's no more kitchen service after a fire. Only drinks are served. The owner was nice about it.

Not sure how folks are running a reputable business when you claim to open at 9AM, but I don't see a single being inside preparing for business. It is 9:05AM. Please do better.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to experience any of these things. We confirmed operating hours, and went there for brunch on Saturday. They were closed an hour after they were supposed to be opened; we ended up wandering a few blocks and finding another restaurant two hours later still closed. What a shame.

I'm going to write a detailed complaint about this because this hasn't been the first time but the 4th time this has happened. I'm an advocate for small businesses but if you have business hours...actually follow the hours you have provided.First, it was the transition from the cafe to the wine bar and not allowing certain cafe drinks after a certain time. Then the occasional they are supposed to open but they are not. It's so frustrating since this is one of the ONLY cafes that we have around where we can sit down.December 28, I come at 10:40AM, a hour after the holiday business hours indicated on the website and on the door. Doors locked and no one to be found. This is the 4th time this has happened.

This is a wonderful hang out spot in Valley Stream. The ambiance is friendly and welcoming. Support your neighborhood Coffee shops. My suggestion would be to add some snacks Chips, Peanuts perhaps some cracker and cheese. A wonderful place visit soon.

I had the greatest experience at Standard Pour a few days ago. The atmosphere and set up was so chill to get away from the hustle bustle of the outside world. It was such a great place to meet up with good old friends and check in! I had the warmest caramel latte, with the foam heart thingy in the center. ? And my friends and I enjoyed a chilled glass of clean slate wine followed after. The attendant was very welcoming and full of recommendations. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed that afternoon at the time, so I cannot rate the food. However, the menu did look bomb and the food presentation posted from other visitors looked great. I will be looking forward to return again and order my chicken and waffles next time ?Wheelchair accessibility: no stairs

The staff were so mean they were scary. I was “greeted” be being told not to touch the coffee cups. (I thought it was self-serve). The menu said brunch starts at 10:00, but we were told the kitchen didn’t open until 11:00. So we waited. We couldn’t order French toast. No bread. They were out of tea. Another couple was told they were out of their entree. A third was told theirs would take an hour. So everyone left. On the street outside my friend warned another lady not to go in there and the mean waitress came running out and yelled at her not to do that! First time I’ve ever actually been afraid to wait staff. It would be better not to eat than to go here.

Poor customer service. We waited an hour and a half for the kitchen to open. A lot of the menu items were not available. Waste of time! There was good music though.

My husband and I have been here a few times. We always enjoy it. The vibe is great, and the food and drinks are delicious. Service is always 5 star. We would absolutely recommend this spot to everyone, especially for brunch.

A friend of mine recommended this spot due to knowing the owners. We walked in after 4:00 pm to grab a few coffees and support a local business. We were told that they stopped serving coffee at 4:00 pm and the lady informed us that she had just cleaned the machines. Apparently, after 4:00 pm, they shift from coffees and hot beverages to wine and spirits. The inside appears to be a place where people stop by and hang out and use their laptops. I am willing to give them another try in the future.

I am writing this review in real time. I called and placed my order at 10:37AM, the person I spoke to told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. I decided to walk in at 11AM (to give more time) and it is now 11:18AM and still waiting for my order. I also ordered a drink which took about 10 minutes to finally be given to me, still long before my food order arrived. I would have liked to have my drink with my food. This place seems really understaffed. At 11:27AM I finally received the food to go with my drink that I basically finished while waiting. Thats almost a whole hour from the time I placed my order. The waiting time seriously needs to improve or just be more honest about what the wait time actually is!
