Get the 4 scoop sundae, good for 3 ppl R $11. That's a solid steal! Replace pineapple with berries and have a mix of nuts rather than one.Downside is the hot fudge melted the ice cream so it was like eating soup.Keep the ice cream solid and visible rather than underneath the whip cream.Cool old blast to the past parlour look. Good chill time.

Our family has been enjoying itgens burgers and ice cream for over 60 years and 4 generations. Grace and her husband, the relatively new owners who took over from the Itgen family have done a wonderful job of continuing the tradition of good food with quality ingredients at fair and reasonable prices.We love their burgers and fries, turkey sandwiches and other all American traditionsBut the best part is always the wonderful homemade ice cream sundaes. The ice cream flavors are varied with traditional and funky offerings (hot Cheetos anyone) the whipped cream made from. Scratch in a kitchen aid daily, homemade hot fudge wet nuts and bananas for our favorite a 3 scoop banana royal. Yum.

What NICE people!! They were all so very attentive and very personable. Food was home cooking at its best and we warn you: ask for a take out container for food so you can enjoy dessert. Share if you have to! My only complaint is seating. Booths for up to 4 are all over but only the back room can accommodate 5 or more. The staff did look in on us frequently since we were 6. It is a definite return for a great time place.

Omg this place is a Hidden Gem. I've been to a few icecream parlors this is in the high upper tier. Warm soft chewy brownie under amazing homemade icecream and great coating of fudge.Update the king burger was amazing. Meat is top tier. Juicy!

I LOVED the food here and the experience I had at Itgen’s was honestly really wonderful. There burgers are EXTREMELY tasty so soft and melts in your mouth and their ice cream is top-notch the best of the best with there variety of amazing flavors and toppings to choose from and how easily you can customize your food. Safe to say I will DEFINITELY be coming back for more and I will be easily coming back here on a regular basis in the future

Ok. Ice cream was really great. Enjoyed. That said, several issues with the service. Young girl, today August 28th, I don’t think was malicious but needs more training.Firstly, at register ready to pay, with ice cream bagged sitting on counter, with cash in hand when two losers walk in and interrupt us and ask to speak to a manager. He is a point of sale tech salesman he says and wants to see if there is a need for his service. The girl literally stops our transaction, says “hold on, I’ll ask” and walks to back of store for 2-3 minutes. I’m like wholly hell,…these losers are going to delay me and this girl really is not going to just take my money? Insulted and disrespected by the losers and she didn’t help matters. Take my money, young dear. Send me on my way.Also, secondly Looked at menu. Specialty sundaes were between $7.95-10.95 and two scoops were $6.95 according to menu. I decide 2 scoops, name my flavors, say coffee syrup and also requested whip cream and a cherry too please. At cash register, she says $16.45 and I know something amiss. But based on the above incident, I just want out.Get to car and see she gave me two separate cups of the two flavors I selected (with whip cream and a cherry on one). So, order totally botched. And double what I planned on spending. If someone, (me), indicates two flavors, coffee syrup , and whip cream and a cherry and that’s going to be a double order somehow??? I didn’t think my order was confusing but If was to her, she needs to be trained to clarify the order with the customer. According to my plain reading of the menu, I have no idea how she put my simple order together or how it came to $16.45.All in all, not a pleasant experience but the ice cream was way solid. That is the only reason I am giving 4 stars. The ice cream was that good & I love mom & pops and don’t want to hurt the owner. So $16 for 2 scoops of ice cream, coffee syrup, whipped cream and a cherry. ???. Feels very wrong and I originally gave 1 star but changed to 4 because young girl likely just learning, ditzy and/or clueless. She needs more training.

I am so happy to say that my old favorite ice cream parlor is still wonderful! I have been going to Itgen’s for over 30 years but hadn’t been there since before the Covid pandemic. I knew the original owners had sold it, and I was very skeptical about returning. My family and I always talk about how great their food and, of course, ice cream always was so we decided to give them another try. We are so glad we did! My Country Style Cheeseburger was homemade and delicious, and they still use the best pickles I’ve ever tasted. Of course we all went for dessert, and the ice cream was so good, with the best hot fudge and fresh whipped cream. Grace and her family were so friendly and attentive, and she even thanked my son for requesting Disco Fries. They weren’t on the menu but Grace had them made to order and said she would add them to their new menu. While I do miss the retro decor of Itgen’s, and maybe they can add some personal touches to that, I will definitely bring my family back again!
