My wife and I have had dinner three times in the last 2 months and we always order the same thing, chicken parm dinner and broiled fish dinner and it has been excellent every time, the first time there we had a waitress Mary and she is excellent, we request her every time and the service that she gives is the best. We are going back to Vernon Downes on Friday and we will have dinner at Mr G's ,and request Mary again. Also i would like to add it is very affordable and great food,try it you will like it, John

I ordered Mr. G's Rib Special and it blew me away. For only $23, you get a full rack of ribs that are smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. The char on the ribs was perfect and the sauce was just the right balance of sweet and savory. The dinner normally comes with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli, but I switched mine up for wedges and mash — and it was a great choice! The wedges were crispy and seasoned well, the mashed potatoes were creamy and garlicky, and the cornbread on the side was a perfect finishing touch. On top of the delicious food, the service was amazing — fast, friendly, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Portions are huge, the flavors are spot on, the price is unbeatable, and the staff makes you feel welcome. This rib special is definitely a must-try at Mr. G's!

Waitresses are being competitive with each other see who can fight to do the least amount of work The TVs haven't worked in there in 20 years Rules on which door you can enter and leave from No one that works there wants to be there I didn't meet the cook but I can tell by the food that he doesn't want to be there and shouldn't be there

Everytime we go to Mr Gs and we get the same waitress She is not friendly what’s so ever and avoids us as need be. When we order the mozzarella appetizer they never cook it enough so it is not melted or gory I. The middle like it should be so my husband went to say something to the waitress and she ignored him and walked away. So then I got a different waitresses attention and she had the manager come over. She took them in the back and brought us new ones. We used to go eat there quite often and stopped because of the waitress. It is so annoying. I go to relax and eat something good and can’t do that with her making me so uncomfortable and my sister in law even commented on her. If you can’t handle criticism on the food not on her then don’t waitress. Also my husband gets 2 different coupons one for the track and one for the casino and they wouldn’t let him use both which is ridiculous. If I need to show proof I will give it to you that he get 2 different coupon pamphlets in the mail. You need to do something because the food is going down hill at your place. I have talked to other people and they agree that it’s not the same as it was before
Never got bread which usually is bread sticks that sucks anyway.my pork chop was red when cut it . waitress complained no one leaves tips.i leave 25 percent all the time.she got 10 percent she needs to find a new profession. Eat there every month worst service and meal ever and spent 50.00 plus drinking.then closes at 745 we got their at 714. Should of just at ate 777s.good for the price.done for the year get some good help.at least ones that keep their mouth shut and do their job.

If I could give you no stars for customer service, I would. We made a reservation a month ago for a birthday party. They called three days before the party and cancelled our reservation. Here we are scrambling to call everyone and tell me the invatation they received has changed. ill never give you my business again.

prime rib was refrigerator cold for all 4 of us having dinner. Ran out of mashed potatoes substituted baked and that was actually warm. Drink order was wrong and sat on the end of the bar for over 15 minutes. Server didn't check back or offer dessert menu etc.. waste of money
