Teddy's Treats At Verona Beach State Park

I brought my 7 yr old grandson to the beach last week. He was enjoying the splash pad more than the lake itself. However, the highlight of our visit was our LUNCH from Teddy's Treats! His choice was the chicken tenders. Mine was a harder choice. I got the bacon cheeseburger. Fully loaded with lettuce, tomato, pickles on a huge Kiser bun! We shared a boat of ribbon fries. Actually brought some home. We are excited about returning for our next meal. Grandson wants cheeseburger I'm craving the fish sandwich. I will introduce him to the loaded ribbon fries!

Teddy's used to run the concession stand and camp store at another local campground where ny entire family booked together every year. His menu was in our camper each year. We sure do miss him there. Now we have to prepare all of our meals ourselves lol.

(Side note: I've know Ted for many years. Our son's went through school together. From elementary to graduation. I then had the pleasure of working with him in the Camden school district before my retirement. He and his wife are two of the most kind, & generous people.)

We missed the food as they just closed when we biked in, but Teddy opened up so we could get bug spray! A true lifesaver! The menu looks amazing, so based on how friendly he was we will definitely be back. Verona Beach is a hidden gem in this area for sure!

Very friendly staff. Food was prepared very quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak.

We love taking our 1 year old son to Teddy's Treats at Verona Beach State Park! The food & atmosphere is simply amazing. Everything is freshly made, cooked to order and served with a smile. We are staying in the campground. Went to their camp store just to get an ice coffee from the cooler. We were going to order food later in the day, since the campground is flooded and the outside temperature is in the 90s, we didn't feel like cooking. There was a school field trip and a long line outdoors for food and ice cream. There were three kids in front of us waiting to check out with their purchases. I get it that the lady and young girl were slammed, but at least someone could have acknowledged us. They saw us but just kept ignoring all of us and kept going to the next person at the window. After waiting for a while, I gave up, put the drink back in the cooler and left.

My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch. We ordered a hot dog, ribbon fries, 2 slushies and a milkshake and it took almost an hour for our order to come out. The hot dog came out then after 20 additional minutes we finally asked where the rest of our order was as it seemed it was forgotten. Once we had it all and sat down I took a sip of my milkshake and it was the wrong flavour. My wife had to go back and get it corrected. Next time we will just pack a picnic!

This place is quality food at a good price. It is at the Verona State Park with a Beautiful view of the lake and a clean beach.

Teddy’s Treats was a treat itself! My husband and I went to Verona Beach yesterday and enjoyed ourselves some delicious chicken tenders, burger and fries! Teddy was so kind and hospitable, constantly checking on us and even offered our pup Neptune a little ice cream! My husband ordered a scrumptious caramel oatmeal cookie ice cream cone that topped off the visit! Not only did Teddy’s have great food, but also many cool items for a fun beach time! His wife was also very sweet and plan to visit them again today as well 😊 Highly recommend!!

Hands down fried cheese curds we have ever had and their fries are AMAZING!

Super cute concession stand at Verona Beach State Park! Amazing staff/customer service. Awesome ice cream. Prices extremely reasonable! And they even have wicked soft sweatshirts!! Definitely will be back ☺️

We had my son’s birthday party at Verona Beach State Park and Teddy worked with me so I could provide “coupons” to our guests for a $5 treat. The kids got to pick if they wanted an ice cream, snack, candy, etc. and I settled up with Teddy afterward. The kids loved being able to order something for themselves and I didn’t have to try to round them up all at once and wait 20 minutes for them to order. My adult guests ordered iced coffee for themselves. We are regular visitors to the beach and always enjoy great snacks and service from Teddys, but he and his staff went above and beyond to make my event a little extra special!!!

My husband and I come to Teddy's several times throughout the season for one of their fish dinners. Large piece of haddock with coated fries and very good slaw. We place our order, scope out our picnic table in the shade, watch the people and the boats. It's a quiet and thoroughly enjoyable dinner out for us without getting wrapped up in all of the tourist activity in Sylvan Beach. We love Verona Beach State Park and now we feel the same toward Teddy's.
