Cool place, big bar, decent drinks, good service . Menu isn’t great as it advertises chicken in a salad but is 7$ up charge from 18$ and flatbread advertises celery but it is considered the celery leaves on top. The desert brookie is realllyyyy good and comes with ice cream ( which isn’t advertised lol)

"NY Rec and Social Club" is the newest addition to the Exit 33 complex at The Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York. This vibrant venue offers a refreshing mix of entertainment, delicious bar food, and a welcoming atmosphere that caters to both casual hangouts and lively evenings.Upon stepping into the club, guests are greeted with a modern and inviting space adorned with plenty of casual seating options. The club boasts three resident DJs—DJ Big Poppa, DVDJ Reel, and DJ Washburn—who keep the energy high with their eclectic music selections, ensuring there's never a dull moment on the dance floor. One of the highlights of the experience is the innovative bar menu featuring fresh bar food and creative cocktails. The smoked bourbon cocktail, in particular, stands out for its unique presentation: served with a cover that, when lifted, releases a billowing cloud of smoke, filling the air with a delightful aroma that enhances the drinking experience.Despite the lively ambiance, the atmosphere at NY Rec and Social Club remains casual and not overly loud, allowing guests to socialize comfortably without feeling overwhelmed. The bartenders are noted for their exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency in managing the bar and attending to patrons' needs promptly. In addition to the entertainment and drinks, the club offers various gaming options, including live betting, gambling tables, foosball, and pool tables, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy. The food served at the club is described as delicious and well-presented, with quick service that adds to the overall positive dining experience.Furthermore, the cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities, including the bathrooms, are commendable, reflecting the club's commitment to providing a pleasant environment for its guests.Overall, our experience at NY Rec and Social Club was fantastic, and we look forward to returning in the future. Whether you're looking for a fun night out with friends, a place to enjoy live music and entertainment, or simply a relaxed setting to unwind, this establishment offers a well-rounded experience that caters to various preferences. With its combination of great food, attentive service, and enjoyable ambiance, NY Rec and Social Club is definitely worth a visit.

Troy and Johnathan make the place. We have been several times and we get treated with the upmost respect. Food is great, bartenders are awesome. I don’t know what these other reviews are talking about. My absolute favorite place!

My absolute favorite place. Food is amazing, especially the wings. Not to mention the atmosphere, definitely different than your average bar/restaurant.

For upstate NY it's really nice and modern place to have some drinks and enjoy some games. But I was expecting a sportsbook within the vicinity that would of been similar to what was in their lobby, but I didn't see that. Rather some kiosks in the hallway near the entrance.

Music too loud..bartender service good friendly..needs more TVs on during a big game if your sitting at the bar you shouldn’t have to watch a big game on a 24 inch tv while there are multiple TVs open with advertising..so much more space for TVs, local places Tullys BWW copper top have more TVs to accommodate a smaller crowd, the old spot coming down the escalators had litterally every game on you could possibly watch the new place seemed to have espn espn 2 and espnU

MUSIC IS WAY TOO LOUD. We had to walk out after we were seated because it was so distracting and gave us an instant headache. We tried to get our waitresses attention several times as she walked by us but she could not hear us! In a sports bar, you should hear the TV's, not so much the music. It's an easy fix.

Service sucked, need more wait staff for what game nights are needed for, to loud to even watch the games, you can’t even have proper internet connection in half your bar. Way too hot in there.

I didn't eat here, but played at the blackjack tables two nights in a row when I was there. So I can't give a review of the food, but rather the atmosphere and ambiance. I had fun playing blackjack for a couple hours each night, but a couple things that need to be fixed. The music from the DJ is WAY too loud, the dealer would be calling the pit boss over and it was so loud in there the pit boss couldn't even hear the dealer. Us as players basically had to waive the pit boss over for the dealer. Also as a sports bar you would think there would be tv's right by the blackjack tables, but that is not the case. Your only option is to look at the giant screen in the middle of the bar, but there is a wall in the way so you kinda need to look around the wall to see the screen, or else you have to look at the tvs on the far wall about 75 feet away. Also there were NFL games on both nights I was there and there was no sound from the games since they had a DJ playing. So basically you can't listen to the broadcast on the tv's but rather just look at the score and what's happing in the game. Would I go back again, yes, I had a great time. But be prepared when you walk out of the place at the end of the night you will be deaf and your ears ringing from how loud the music is lol

The music was too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. Service was somewhat disjointed and the bill needed a correction after being over charged. It feels like this place is trying to be too many things at once; a sports book, a vip lounge, a table gaming area, an arcade, a full service restaurant, a bar, maybe a bit of a club (there was a live DJ). Some may like it but we probably won't return.

The DJ was extremely loud. One of the chairs had a broken leg so they brought another and that too was broken. We were told that they were renting the furniture. The waitress couldn’t hear us to take our orders. She did her best. We spoke with a manager, Troy, he was very accommodating The food was cold and nothing special. My $19 salad came in a tiny bowl that looked like a dog bowl! The beer (tap) was flat. The TV’s are so high, you have to strain your neck and you can’t hear them because the music was so loud. Not a place I would frequent. Is it a club, a sports bet or a bar casino? Too much going on it should be reimagined.
