I’ve been going to opals at the casino for years and was really disappointed with my last experience. I got a chocolate croissant and it tasted like old oil and was so dry. I have always gotten the half moon cookies and this one also just a bad taste and there was a hard crunchy piece in the frosting. The cookies used to be made with a fudgy thicker frosting and whatever they’re using now is not as good. The staff is always super kind and welcoming though!

I received a welcome basket in my lodge VIP suite that included freshly baked goodies from Opals. The cookies were excellent and the cupcakes were delightful. They were in fact so good that my wife and I visited it daily and got chocolate dipped Oreo cookies and walnut fudge which were also excellent. They made my wifes Starbucks coffee to perfection which is very rare for locations that serve it without being a physical location. Highly recommend for all caffeine related and sweet tooth fixes.

Terrible poor customer service. The two young blonde ladies ringing you up and taking your order will give you dirty looks, judge your order, not tell you that they will put alcohol on your hot chocolate and also get your orders incorrectly. Please train your staff properly.

Opal's was a highlight of our 2 night stay at the end of December. Their pastries were all excellent and reasonably priced for such great quality. The Danish were not dry at all, the chocolate dessert was so rich and delicious, and the peanut butter cookie was one of the best I have had. We had breakfast sandwiches the morning we checked out, and I wish I had tried them sooner! I love that they offer Starbucks beverages- their white hot chocolate is one of my favorite winter treats!

Opals desserts are ALWAYS stale , old and poor quality. Every Single Time the desserts are old. (The cookies are decent for $4 a piece though) Had banana pudding and the banana garnish on top was so old it was turning into a banana chip. Disgusting. They use some horrible shortening topping that is half of all their desserts. Pig Fat disguised as whipped cream. Most disgusting unappealing place to eat on the property. I had a fruit platter 6oz, for $6 the fruit had turned almost alcholic it was so old. I am in shock how disgusting this Casino is with serving old food ! And at ASTRONOMICAL prices!!!! They need some oversight here the food is old and gross including the Delicattesen horrible food and packaged macaroni salad and stale bread and pre made dry sandwichs

Everything here is great! They serve Starbucks coffee, refreshers and frappes! The baked goods are always delicious. The opals brownie and the triple chocolate cupcakes are always delicious, never dry! Highly recommend the iced Carmel macchiato, or a strawberry acia refresher to drink!

A regular guest. Cakes and other baked goods are great. Starbucks coffee is perfect. Need more space and help...Only real coffee at the stone... [Hint, hint] maybe make another coffee stand without the confectionary attached... The lines are always long.

I was given a Cream Puff that was bought today from Opals. Worse cream puff I have ever had. The shell was old and hard, couldn't eat it. The filling tasted like old whipped cream. Definitely NOT what a cream puff should taste like. Total waste of money. Not the 1st time I have been disappointed in their items. I keep hoping it will get better but it doesn't. Their desserts used to be amazing.
