Perhaps the best of the many good things about living in The South Wedge is being within walking distance of Happy Earth Tea. Not only is it an excuse to get out of the house for a bit of mellow company and exceptional tea, it made me the envy of my family when they visited me in Rochester and I took them there

I tried the ceremonial style matcha and the Himalayan black tea during my visit. I loved both so much I bought a bag of the black tea and the matcha for home. Everyone working there was welcoming and the space felt relaxed. Thank you for the tea!

This is the best tea shop in the whole state of New York! I cannot recommend it enough. The variety of teas is immense, and all of the employees and knowledgeable, passionate and kind. If you have any interest in tea, I urge you to come in and explore.

They know tea well and have many varieties of tea. They should be the best tea shop in Rochester. Longjing tea is my favorite, if you go to this shop, you must try it. The staff are friendly and provide detailed explanations. Very nice!

Did not dine in; went to buy tea. So many choices! I finally decided on a green kind, a Chai, and tumeric/ginger. Their wonderful tea mixtures are fresh and so-o-o delicious! I highly recommend this shop; it is a unique, lovely, pleasant place to visit!
Best matcha latte I've ever had! Ran all around town looking for a good one and this cannot be beat. Love their hot teas as well! They even do free resteeps. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Large retail tea selection. The tea shop of my dreams!

A native Rochesterian who moved out closer to the Lake, I had not had a chance to visit this lovely little shop! The atmosphere feels calm to me even walking in. I'm synesthesia so for me it smells smooth and calm, and the sounds resonate very, very well with the color choices. It is so rare to find a place where sensory harmonies have been at least given a nod. I tried the Kashmiri Chai as my first experience. The flavor was complex, even meaty, but good. Complex teas are new to me. It is a new experience to have a drink that I continue exploring in myself long after I put the cup down. I highly recommend this place and look forward to my next chance to have a new taste journey!

Lovely shop and cafe! I didn’t know how delicious unsweetened tea could be until I had it here. Their teas have fantastic flavor - I’ve never been disappointed by one yet.
I really love that you can try different kinds in the cafe so you know what you like, and each time they brew with care and precision. They gave me perfect instructions to replicate my favorite iced drink at home. I’m so happy this shop is here!
