The cutest little cookie shop! Coffee, bubble tea and even ice cream! I love to give a box as a gift!

Pastel has been the best addition to the sleepy town of Victor thus far! As an elegant cookie cafe that specializes in small batches and super high quality stuff, the place is a much needed addition to the town. It's probably the most vibrant addition to Main Street, especially amongst the basic so-so eateries that have already been there. Pastel is more than a cafe---- it's a destination!I always buy my party trays here because there's about 12 different flavors of cookies and desserts to always pick from at any time. You can even see the pastry and cookie chefs mixing and baking in the back of the kitchen, which guarantees me the high quality cookies that Pastel is known for.Of note to all the whiners out there, me being someone who has spent a good amount of money at Pastel and love to support small businesses, some of these negative reviews are overly dramatic. I can hear the whining through my screen! lol!I'm reading other people's reviews, and my my my. . . some of those people sound like they want to complain just to complain! Looks like one guy who posted yesterday and gave them 2 stars was complaining about the cafe being closed the first week of the new year. Well, even if the posted google hours were not updated, which is super common especially with small businesses, even more so in a sleepy slow town like Victor, at least this shop DEFINITELY posted their winter hours on Facebook and Instagram a handful of times. So if you've got time to write a poor review against a small business, a new business that is very much a fabulous addition to the town of Victor, then you definitely have the time to look at the business's Facebook or Instagram page like any normal person to check their hours and stay up to date. You know what? If I could give Pastel 10 stars, I would. Anyway, take a look at the ice cream I got from them recently. They source it from a creamery out of Maine called Giffords. And it is by far the most amazing Ice Cream I have had since moving to Victor. Forget all the other ice cream shops on the street, whose ice cream is gummy and cheap tasting. Pastel's ice cream by Giffords is outstanding, high quality, and simply delicious, just like their cookies. Also pictured is my catered tray of cookies I ordered for my office Christmas party. The cookies were a big delicious hit!!!Dietary restrictions: The shop has many flour-free options and have plenty of choices for even the pickiest eaters.Parking: Huge parking in the rear of the building. Perfect for inviting many friends to Pastel since they can all park their cars comfortably.Kid-friendliness: Pastel is perfect for kids and those who are still kids at heart! There are so many cookie flavors, dessert options, and ice creams to choose from. And the decor and ambiance of the place is fancy, but calming and relaxing . . it makes you want to sit and enjoy your sweets for hours on end!

The review left by another user (complaining about some containers) does not accurately reflect everyone's experience at Pastel, nor should it influence anyone else. She, in my humble opinion, is the reason why members of the restaurant and service industries choose to quit their jobs, especially because of poor attitudes from customers like hers! Anyway, be kind to your small local businesses.Back to my own experience, it was my first time visiting the cookie shop, and I was quite enchanted by the entire experience. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the wonderful scent of freshly baked cookies, and even more charming was the sound of the bakers in the back mixing the dough. That's when you know the cookies really are freshly baked! The store was beautifully laid out. I felt transported to a mini-whimsical shop like the ones you find in Paris or somewhere.Nobody in their right mind should complain about paying for these VERY premium cookies, especially if they are each about the size of your face (believe me, these cookies are HUGE)! They are very big and PACKED with FLAVOR.I tried all the cookies available on the counter and GLADLY paid nearly $180 for about 4 dozen cookies. These are not your cheap ol' Walmart or Entenmanns cookies. You can expect GOURMET cookies which are apparently made fresh every day.Lesson to all of you, coming from someone who is newly retired but has been doing travel reviews of restaurants, hotels, and other shops around the country: SET your expectations accordingly, and support your local businesses. This is where the really good stuff comes from.Next time I come up to the Finger Lakes, I will DEFINITELY come back to Pastel and try to buy as much as I can.Thanks!G. AstorVegetarian options: They have flour-free options, which are equally delicious!Kid-friendliness: Absolutely whimsical and decorated like a fabulous Disney movie!

Love the cookies can’t ever seem to get them as everytime is says your open on googleHence today till 6 you’re actually not open!! I get you’re allowed to be off but for people who make special trips maybe have google coincide with your actual hours(I know I could have called to be 100% sure but honestly didn’t think I’d have to even though it’s not first time this has happened) next time right ?‍♂️

These cookies were amazing. I liked how soft they were and the thickness of them. There were a variety of cookies. We got chocolate chip, mmm, and molasses. They were 6 for $18. We were greeted with smiles which is always nice. A great cookie place to go to!! They also had flour-less cookies, coffee and ice cream!

This past Saturday evening I stopped in and picked up a half dozen cookies and they are by far the best cookies I have found in the area. I was expecting to walk in and find a limited selection of cookies left since it was later in the day and to my surprise I found a great selection and was able to get a variety of cookies to sample. I also must add that the owner, Jim, was very friendly and we had a good conversation about his business and what he plans to do in the new larger location. If you have not already, I highly recommend stopping in and trying their cookies. I will definitely be back and will be sure to share my experience with anyone looking for a great place to pick up some fresh baked cookies!

Highly recommend! We ordered custom cookies for my son’s first birthday and they were a huge hit. Their classic cookies were also amazing. The management is so sweet and helpful, and the inside of their shop is like something out of a movie. So great!

Cute spot with great atmosphere! Felt like we were in a storybook - would be an adorable spot for a birthday gathering. Looking forward to returning in the future!

The cookies are delicious! I only have one negative comment. if your are going to keep the door open for air ,as there is a small a/c window unit you need to glass cover all your cookies. there were many flies and I will admit I threw them out except for the half moons were the only covered cookiesFood for thought for the owner

Local bakery and small cafe. Currently offers freshly made cookies and other pastries, ice cream, and coffee. Their options are more on the pricey side, but their cookies are quite good. New location is much larger than the old one and has indoor and outdoor patio seating.
