Nice small sit-down cafe located within the food court of Eastview Mall. Offers a large selection of different sandwiches, wraps, and quesadillas. Also has coffee and other drink options. Meals are reasonably priced.

1st time here tonight - and it was great. Simple, casual little eatery reminiscent of Panera - but with much better food, pleasant staff, and quick service. A quesadilla is a quesadilla, right? Wrong. 3 cheese quesadilla with herbed chicken was somehow the best quesadilla I've ever had. Lemonade smoothie that was the perfect combo of sweet and tart. And the almond joy cookie/macaron was so good - I almost missed my exit on the drive home. Will definitely be back.

Very good customer service, good atmosphere, great portions. I ordered a kids Mac and cheese and a sandwich and I had leftovers of each the portions were so big! Will be returning!

I got a veggie quesadilla, on a gluten free tortilla, added chicken and also had a chai latte. EVERYTHING was incredible! So delicious! The staff was great and the atmosphere was awesome too!

I believe today was only our second time dining here since it changed from Colie's. I honestly loved Colie's and would go there every time I was at the mall or shopping Pittsford Plaza. Their menu and food were outstanding. I have always been very disappointed that the restaurant was changed. We went in today for lunch and some things surprised us. We were disappointed to learn that you can no longer pick your sides. Colie's had multiple options for sides that you were able to choose from that came with your meal. The tomato cucumber salad, and tortillas with salsa will be missed. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and delicious our sandwiches were. I am not a fan of kettle chips, so it would be nice to have another option. Even extra pickles instead, because that pickle was so great! I purchased the salmon sandwich and it really hit the spot! We had not eaten all day and it was noon. I said to my husband, if we lived nearby and I was rich I'd order that SO often. I don't remember Colie's being this expensive, but I guess we just have to expect price increases year after year. $38 for two lunch sandwiches and two fountain drinks plus tip. There are no longer healthy or yummy places to eat in the food court. So this is your only and best option. Clean restaurant with plenty of seating with their own public restroom. Atleast they kept the free refills like Colie's Cafe had. Overall we loved our short experience at Root 31, and would recommend it to other shoppers.Vegetarian options: A gentleman next table over ordered the veggie burger, so they had vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: Anyone of any age can dine here.Wheelchair accessibility: Stroller and wheelchair accessible.

Went here for lunch with a friend. Super clean environment, booths were super comfy, and the food was delicious! Definitely recommend. Even though it’s in the mall, it feels secluded. I’ll be back for sure! ?

3.5 stars Honestly a good place to grab a salad and sandwich at the mall. A local and pricier version of Panera. I enjoyed my Reuben sandwich and my wife enjoyed her chicken wrap. Would come back again.
