First visit to Route 96 BBQ. We had browsed the menu in advance to ensure we all could find something. We ended up with the 4x4, which is 4 types of meat (includes salmon), 4 sides and 4 sides of corn bread and pork rinds.I was very impressed with size of the platter, the 4x4 is $43. We didn't like the beans very much as a side, the spices in there were definitely different. The rest was much enjoyed by all.The pulled pork and brisket were definitely a favorite. Their seasoning is pretty strong and there was heaps on the top of both meats, but we just avoided the majority of it. Their BBQ sauce is more southern style - vinegar based.

A very nice experience, smaller place the food was really good. Ordered then 4x4 for my family and it was a really good amount of food! Smoked salmon, pulled pork and Brisket were all very good. Sides were a bit iffy I'd need to try a couple more before I could be sure but the BBQ beams had a strange herb in them and were dry, the potato salad was nice if a little mustard flavored for my taste and the Mac and cheese was good. I think I'm going to give the fries a chance next time to see if I can find something I like but as it stands I'd go back for the meat and sauce which were both excellent.

They ladies workin are amazing and fried pickles but the food was not good at all chicken was dry almost rubbery, brisket had a vinegar taste the potatoes idk what was on them, green were not properly washed and too salty. Less salt, less mustard, dont dry out chicken and no vinegar make sauce thick and tangy amd its be 110%

Place was nice - looked recently renovated; service was nice - we thought the food was just OK. Nothing was bad - but nothing was very good either:The appetizers we had (deviled eggs and the Texas twinkies) we liked very much! Probably the best part of our meal - and the cornbread we thought was good too.Ribs, pulled pork, and brisket were all on the dry side, and neither of the sauces we thought were particularly good (mustard was on the sweet side and the BBQ sauce needed several somethings). The baked beans, Cole slaw, and potato salad were OK- macaroni salad we thought was pretty boring.Nice value too - thought the price was reasonable for the quantity of food we got - but we just wanted better.

I am so disappointed. I’ve been wanting BBQ for weeks and I wanted to try a local place. First time..was told it was a 15 minute wait. That was not bad at all. So we waited. The server was offering EVERYONE else drinks while they waited…did not offer me or my fiance anything. I chose not to say anything because maybe she had a busy night before we came in. Then she tried seating people who came in after me…I did say something then and she laughed like she was so confused..ok well….i forget things too we are all human. Our waitress took FOREVER to take our drink orders. My food was SO salty…I mean like I could not even eat my dinner. The Mac n Cheese was SO bland. I was SO beyond disappointed. I did not even eat my damn near $50 dinner and the waitress did not even notice my food was untouched. Will not be going here again.

Wow came across this place on our way through in an RV. Everything was delicious from the meat, sides, and corn bread. Highly recommend this place. Don’t forget the peach cobbler.

The brisket was dry, the menu was misleading, and honestly it was very over priced. The waitress was attentive though. This is a wanna be Rusty Pig that doesnt make the cut.

Instant favorite! We budget one take out meal per week and we keep choosing this! BBQ sauce is divine, all meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection.

There were little flies that ended up landing in our food. The girl came & I told her then showed her it flying out. And she said Oh, let me get you a box for your leftovers. Never replaced the meat the fly was crawling in. Never gave a discount. Disgusting. Unsanitary. It is as cold in there the entire time. Coleslaw was dry. I asked for SWEET tea & she gave me unsweetened. The last time we were there it wasn’t very good either. Twice now & no good so we’re done with this place!

Goodness. Everything we had was delicious, but the brisket was just off the hook. Best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot.

A very unassuming hidden gem. Right off the main road between Victor and farmington. Only a few miles from freeway. The food was excellent. I gave 4 stars only because I couldn't do 4.5
