Were desperate Valentines night for 6 seats. We live nearby and never noticed it. I don't expect the place to survive more than a couple of months.

Place was nice! Staff Great! Rueben was good but a little dry. French Toast plate seemed like bacon and home fries were put in a fryer. Over well done. Fries were like chips as they were well done to or the oil was dark.

It took 45 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us. And it took another 45 minutes to get the food. The food was ok but pretty expensive. It was almost 80 dollars for 4 breakfasts. The server was nice once we got one

We were regulars at Shelly's Cafe and were thrilled to once again give them our business at their new Phoenix Mills location.
We were seated at a table in a room that looked like a school cafeteria and complete with a room full of teenagers.
All we were given was nenus and were told that "it will be awhile, OK?" We waited, waited and waited some more watching every table around us drinking coffee and eating when after 20 minutes we weren't even offered water.
We walked out to get breakfast elsewhere and don't plan to return until when and if they become more organized and study up on proper customer service.
Sorry, Shelly. We were completely ignored by you and your staff and it was a very disappointing experience. If you were hosting a private party for a large group of highschool athletes that took more room or demanded more service than your establishment was able to offer in conjunction with the general public, you should have closed off that day due to a private party. You otherwise wasted the time of all others that entered your restaurant wanting to give you our business.
BTW: You know exactly who we are and you walked past us several times while we were sitting there with nothing but a menu in front of us for over 20 minutes. You obviously came out of your kitchen for your VIP guests.
The parking lot is decent for the size of the building. We went in a little after the normal lunch hours, around 1:30, and there were only 2 tables occupied, and they were both finishing up, so the service was quick. I got french toast, and it was expensive for the size, but I guess that would be Victor pricing? $17 all in with tax and tip for french toast. My coworker got the tuna melt and said it was fantastic. He also got a cinnamon bun to go, which he also enjoyed. With those and a drink, he spent around $30.
The building also has 1 single person bathroom, which I found odd for the number of seats. But they're definitely trying to maximize space in here.
Parking: Slightly uneven gravel lot. But lots of space.

Food is way overpriced for the portion size. I asked for one extra egg they charge two dollars. It’s cheaper in California. A chai latte in a small cup $5.00. Eggs were burnt

Absolutely worst breakfast. My pancakes looked and tasted like they were cooked on a dirty griddle. My side of sausage consisted of a silver dollar sized patty($2) What a complete waste of $17 for bad pancakes, sausage patty and a cup of coffee. I'm 100% certain I'll never go back !

Great place, excellent products, better quality than most other diners. If you like bacon it's the best. service is friendly . A fantastic little gem in the village
I'm glad that my brother and I ended up stopping for breakfast at Shelly's. Upon first glance, we weren't sure what to expect, but we gave chance regardless. We will definitely be back. The service was excellent and the food followed suit. We found a gem with Shelly's Village
