I'm glad that my brother and I ended up stopping for breakfast at Shelly's. Upon first glance, we weren't sure what to expect, but we gave chance regardless. We will definitely be back. The service was excellent and the food followed suit. We found a gem with Shelly's Village

We have been repeat customers as the food is actually really great, including the latte and we like to support local. The young servers have been very nice to speak with. Unfortunately, the one complaint we have is the very first time we took another couple very dear to us, we experienced the worst service that day. We were ignored, drinks that we ordered were delivered to other customers that came after us, the owner walked by numerous times and did not say hello once until we did (but spoke to others), the server never checked in to refresh coffee or even acknowledge the extra lengthy wait time for food. I am willing to go back because of all the previous great service but this was highly disappointing and not sure our guests would return on their own because of such bad experience that felt prejudice. If they do, it will only be because of our recommendation.

Shelley’s is probably my favorite breakfast spot ever. The food is far better tasting and more interesting than the diners in the area, all of whom seem to serve greasy eggs and mushy home fries. The staff always make us feel welcome and we are always greeted with a smile.

Cute little diner. Yummy food and friendly service.I love the breakfast burrito here and the home fries are delish. Stop in when you're in Victor, it's such a cozy spot.

My husband and I found this gem today. We enjoyed their croissant breakfast sandwiches. The bacon was cooked perfectly. We liked it so much that we went back for lunch!

Everything fresh and delicious! I had the hash which was amazing. My friend had the breakfast quesadilla. Massive portion and excellent quality! I will hopefully be back soon!

I go to Shelley's a least once a month and order the same delicious breakfast quesadilla each time. This small, family restaurant is always a delicious way to start the day. What always impresses me about the quesadilla is the size of the order for what you pay; usually for the price you get a "half quesadilla" where a tortilla shell is folded over on itself. At Shelley's they use full size tortillas to make their quesadillas and it fills you up perfectly. On top of that, the home fries are the best from any breakfast location that I have ever gone to. One of my biggest complaints has always been that parking has been a bit of a nightmare but it appears that recently they must have expanded their parking lot because a significantly higher volume of traffic can park at the diner without having to cross over the busy street which is an extra plus!

This part of the country is absolutely stunning but the few establishments we'd hit for food were... not the best. Our very last breakfast before the epic ride home and Yelp was there to guide us to the very unassuming Shelly's. (I won't lie - my kids were nervous when we pulled into the small gravel parking lot and begged to hit the Dunkin across the street.)Lemme tell you: this is the place. This was the place.Absolutely fantastic. The crew working here are awesome. People never stopped pouring in and they were always warm and welcoming and we knew we found a great little place.Coffee - so good. (Especially after some really awful java from a Denny's a few miles away.)Pricing - surprisingly good, expected a much higher bill for the quality of the grub.We were all over the place... from French toast to their breakfast sandwich to waffles to a granola-fruit "banana split" (yeah, that was me - I'm lame!) - everyone was so happy with their food (and that we didn't sneak over to that Dunkin). Our fave place while staying in the Finger Lakes.
