Idea is great but that is it. Sushi needs to be healthy and this ones are far from it. Too much mayo and cream chees. 6 dollars for 3 small pieces is too much, its much better to order from the menu.

Not only the best sushi I've had in the Rochester area, but this sushi would compete with sushi from cities with higher sushi competition (Cali, Vancouver). Definite recommend to anyone wanting a high quality sushi fix at a fairly reasonable price for the area.

There are 2 conveyor belts that travel past your table. The lower are the various rolls on plates with 2-3 pieces/plate 🍣... the upper track is for special deliveries via ordered via the at-table-tablet.
All of the nagari and sushi 🍣 we tried was very good and it was really fun trying a variety of offerings. The pork and vegetable goyza were amazing! 🤩
If you like sushi... I highly recommend Umai! 🥰

I found a lot of reviews that were positive based on the restaurant itself and the service. I have nothing bad to say about those. I would like to comment on the quality of the food. I lived in Japan for 3 years so I understand that the quality will not match to being in Japan but we ordered a variety just to make sure it wasn’t just one thing that was bad. I can say without a doubt the sushi lacked any sort of freshness and quality of ingredients. I ordered soba which was a poor representation of actual yakisoba. It was clear that this was catered to an audience that doesn’t know what these foods are supposed to look like which is okay I understand we aren’t in Japan but what made me most upset about it is when you compare the poor quality of food with the prices. I’m sorry but in no world should a low quality maki roll be $6-7. It is common in Japan to go pick up a kappa maki (cucumber roll) from a convenience store which is much higher quality than the one I had today for under a dollar. Again I would like to stress that I understand this not Japan, but when you compare the prices and the quality it’s blind robbery. I recommend you go elsewhere.
Not much sushi rotating at all. You pretty much have to order everything. Also, all the sushi out on the best has cream cheese and mayo on it. Sushi is good, not great and portions very small. I think there are better rotating sushi joints in town.

Outstanding service and sushi food is fresh and served fast.staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable. The only issue was some of the background music.Would definitely go back and recommend this place to sushi lovers

Drove up to Victor to try a sushi place. The meal was good. I had some seaweed salad, mackerel nigiri, yellowtail nigiri, octopus nigiri, unagi nigiri( my favorite so far) lobster nigiri , a roll of some form. A couple of sakes i tried and for dessert a fried mochi with vanilla ice cream. Will come back again to try more. They had a robot delivering sodas and some desserts. They also had a conveyor belt to drop off the Nigiri.
