My family and I were spending a night in beautiful Waddington New York and decided to stop into Larry's Steaks and Crepes for dinner. To say it changed the trajectory of our trip would be an understatement.
Immediately upon entering you are taken back by the beautiful hand made artwork adorning the walls around the restaurant. It almost feels like a quaint art gallery atmosphere, which was refreshing.
In one word, the menu is eclectic. A nice mix of, you guessed it, steaks, crepes (savory for dinner and sweet for desert), and some other options. My entire family got the N.E. clam chowder, and boy was that fantastic.
Everyone loved their meals. We ordered from each part of the menu. One steak, one vegetable crepe, some seared scallops, and the Cajun chicken pasta. All wonderfully portioned and flavored.
But beyond the food and the art, the service and people were like no other. Our waitress, Margaret, was so kind and funny. It wasn't like being at a restaurant, it was like being home. She bantered with us, inquired about us and our lives. She truly made the experience wonderful. Lastly, the owner, Mark, struck up some conversations with us and shared his story. Mark, Margaret, and even the kitchen staff inquired about our experience, cared about our feedback, and long after we were done eating still were sharing laughs with us.
We ended our evening under the St. Lawrence sunset by a nice little gas fireplace which Mark so nicely started for us.
My family and I could not recommend this place more to anyone. From the eclectic fun menu, high quality food all around, and service which rapidly transcended into friendship, we could not have asked for a better evening.

My husband and I went here for date night. We each had the filet, while was perfectly cooked. We each started with a salad and ended with a strawberry cream crepe everything was delicious! Everyone was so friendly and the chef and owner checked on us multiple times. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to try their brunch!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Everything, including the feature dish, chicken pot pie, was delicious. The interior of the restaurant was very warm and inviting. Best of all, the service was outstanding. The server, Melissa, was 100% on her game... helpful, friendly, and funny; the chef stopped by the table to check on us; and a very nice gentleman (Steve Martin look-alike whom we assumed was the owner) was attentive and pleasant as well.

What a gem! The Bistro is not only lovely to look at, with lush outdoor plantings and attractive patio seating, the food is exceptionally good. I had a maple chicken crepe for lunch that surpassed expectations. Don't know how he did it, but kudos to Chef Jeff!

We happened to have reservations for the same time the Waddington parade started. We had the table in the window and could sit and watch. That was delightful. I had the chicken maple walnut crepe with apples which was good, I think it needed a creamy sauce, my opinion. My partner had the marinated steak kabob, the flavor was excellent, the meat not as tender as we'd like but still enjoyable.. Dessert was German chocolate mousse and cherries in a crepe, nice combination. The server was pleasant and helpful, the ambiance felt light and airy, with artworks and crafts adding color to a a neutral background. I did buy a handmade purse from ‘the bag lady'. All in all, highly recommend and we will be back.

My partner and I enjoyed a dinner here last week and we haven’t stopped talking about it. The view was amazing at sunset and the food did not disappoint. The local artwork in the restaurant is wonderful to enjoy while you dine and the staff is highly attentive. Chef Will will ensure that we come back again and again.

The AC bistro is awesome. I tried the taverna salad which was excellent and had the french dip for dinner - it was simply the best sandwich I've ever had. It was so good we went back the next morning for the brunch buffet and it was just as delicious. Great food, great atmosphere, great people. 10/10 experience all around.

The AC Bistro has evolved into a superior dining experience. We recently enjoyed a fabulous dinner here. We both enjoyed a cup of chilled cucumber soup before our entrees, a great option. My wife enjoyed the Champagne Shrimp special and I savored the Mahi-mahi with asparagus risotto. Decent wine and craft beer options. Reasonable prices. We will be back…and soon.
