I live in Georgia, but I visit Long Island often to see my family, and this place is always a hit! My first stop every time I’m in the area, the slices are great, can’t beat it

This place is one of the only good things Wading River has going for iitself. Theres 3 other pizza places within 1 mile, this one is just better. Maybe even the best pizza in suffolk county, but at least the best that I've had personally.

They don’t have prices visible then they will charge you for things you didn’t order. This has happened to me at least three times . Too many to be a coincidence.

I work in the area and the whole town recommends this pizza shop but they aren’t the most cheerful or welcoming crew this Saturday afternoon that past. I’ve been coming here for a year now and it used to be a really Nice guy there but now there’s this young boy there. For the second time in 2 weeks I have came there and they have overlooked me as a customer and have had other customers skip me when ordering or paying and speak to me as if I’m annoying them. Don’t think I will be back, it’s over priced anyways. Oh and by the way my chicken parmigiana roll wasn’t even hot , I had to warm it up in the microwave when I got back to work.

Staff was friendly. Food was delicious. We had a decent-sized party of 8 and they took care of us with ease. We ordered 1 pizza and 1 entree while occupying two tables in the dining room in the rear. Very modern design in the back. Traditional style pizzeria in the front. Will definitely be returning when in the area again

Growing up in an authentic Italian household and learning the true taste of the perfect Italian cooking and learning and emulating it from my grandmothers and mother and replicating it for 30 years...I hold Italian restaurants to the same standards I learned /developed (experienced by our taste palate's), La Bistro has always meet..actually surpassed our expectations..... Everyone should experience their food...especially Italians, who are very particular about their food - knowing what it should really taste like, and experiencing so -so results from other restaurant's.... My favorite dishes so far are as follows: Eggplant parm, Calzone, Rice balls, and pizza toped with Eggplant... So much more I want and intend to try... I never submit /write reviews... Actually, I think this is my second...lol... But LB is so exceptional, I wanted to share my experiences with other to encourage them to experience what my family and I have.

Traveled in from California (grew up in NY) and was hoping for some “real” NY pizza and calzone. Was thrilled to find La Bistro close to Wading River State Park… outstanding on all fronts. Great staff, little bar for a quick drink… and first class pizza. The calzone was exceptional… loved every bite.

I have to say I've been going here the last 4 months a n d love my pepperoni and meatball pie. I got one on this Tuesday and it was of the charts. It looked almost to good to eat. As I did notice a new face making the pizza. I hope you guys keep him around. Grest job whoever you are.
