Stopped by for a couple beers after a busy day. We’re not from the area but found the bar to be reminiscent of back home. A but spends, but we had a great time joking with the staff. Didn’t get to chat with any of the locals- seemed a bit stand off ish, but were chatty people so sometimes that puts people off. The drinks were good and we were content!
Orderee the turkey club sandwich and lobster bisque.
The bisque was disappointing. Almost no evidence of any lobster. The club sandwich, onion rings, and pickles were good, but make certain u specify mayo or some dressing. It was a bit dry.
My wife's baked clams were also dense... very heavy with a lot of bread crumbs.
Although this may all sound somewhat unfavorable, the service and overall dining experience has always been very good and we continue...

I ordered the smothered burger. It was cooked and specified which was medium rare. The burger was juicy and flavorful. Our food came not too long after we ordered and everyone was served at the same time. We were a large party gathering after a funeral. The atmosphere was subdued and seating conducive to gathering together. The staff was friendly and met all of our needs. Everyone enjoyed their food and felt it was reasonably priced.
