The bread is crumbly and lacks taste. The chardonnay sucks and must be Almaden from a box We loved Ashley and I tipped her 30% JIM MATTIMORE Get some Long Island chrads, but nothing from Pindar.
Great spot, great food, great service. Staff make you feel welcomed, food excelled. Always host big family dinner's and they never disappoint .
Big portions, Great service.
Fantastic homemade food. Excellent service. Will definitely be back!
I was visiting from out of state and my cousin and I were staying at Eastwind and walked over to eat here. The food was excellent and staff wonderful. Would definitely come again if in the area!!
Excellent food & service
A friend recommended Ruggero's for dinner and we were so pleased that we tried it. The restaurant is located in the Shoppes at East Wind. It has a relaxing atmosphere, like being on vacation. The Caesar Salad for two was tasty and the baked cheese was a nice addition. I really enjoyed the Short Rib Ragu. It had so much flavor, with a generous portion of rib meat. The Ossobuco was amazing. The pork was tender and the risotto was perfect.
The servers were very helpful and attentive.
We spent a lovely afternoon, very relaxing. The food was excellent. We will visit again. Our server, Alyssa, was attentive and knowledgeable. The Short Rib dish was great.
P&A
We experienced some of the worst service we've ever received, anywhere. Restaurant was nearly empty, but service was extremely slow and seemed inexperienced. One dish was misrepresented to one of us at the table, resulting in my friend not eating it. Server started removing plates before we were finished, but then the second course did not arrive for a long time. Food was OK, but we will not return.
The lobster ravioli was amazing! I was disappointed to be seated in the back without heat, but the staff was very accommodating and moved us inside when I asked. The food was delicious.

First off, we made a reservation less than 24 hours ago knowing it was last minute and for Valentine’s Day.
Long story short, they were short staffed but not a shocker for the industry or holiday.
That being said, the staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone’s working in overdrive and you can’t ask for more.
Our waitress Melissa was absolutely awesome despite having a bunch of tables on a crazy night. She was super sweet and helped us navigate a very inviting menu with so many tempting options.
Appetizers, we did the burrata and the Cupid salad off the special menu. Both were delicious and plenty of food for first plates.
Dinner, Pork Ossobucco was unreal. I definitely need a nap after eating that monster. My wife got the pork cappraciossa and it was also delicious.
The tartufo dessert was also a very nice way to wrap up a great meal.
Were wait times a little extended tonight? Absolutely.
Was that at any fault of the staff? No chance.
We are super appreciative to have such friendly and hard working people working a “holiday” and Friday night while juggling such a rush of people.
10/10 on the food.
10/10 on the staff.
10/10 our food.
We’ll be back.
Thank you, Melissa for making tonight a great night out.

If I could give no stars, I would. My husband made a reservation for Valentine’s Day weeks ago, so that we wouldn’t have any issues. Our reservation was good for 8:30 (or so we thought). Arrived to the restaurant and there was a line to get in, no problem, that’s expected. The parties before us were seated and then we stood waiting to be seated. While waiting to be acknowledged by someone a couple from the dining room came up and were complaining to someone (I think a manager) about how they had a 7pm reservation and they still hadn’t received any food by 8:30. She walked out and warned all of us on line. We decided to wait it out and see because maybe it was an exaggeration. I did look into the dining room and noticed the entire half of the restaurant near the entrance were seated, but not one table had food. At 8:40 someone came to greet us and stated, so nonchalantly “if you’re planning on staying it’s going to be a wait to be seated and if you do decide to wait and sit, you’ll have a long wait ahead of you for food. Our kitchen is running very slow tonight and is behind.” Like it was no big deal.
Obviously, we decided not stay and wait as it was already 8:45pm. We had to get a babysitter to be able to go out tonight and it’s not like we can just walk in anywhere else and not expect a wait on valentines night. My husband was extremely embarrassed and annoyed as we had figured out our plans way in advice so we could enjoy a child free night and we ended up being left scrambling to figure out other plans.
This is absolutely not how a business should be run. If your restaurant and kitchen can not keep up with the amount of reservations that you take, then you shouldn’t take as many reservations.
What a way to ruin my Valentine’s Day. Went here for an evening dinner with my family on Valentine’s Day. Was sat in an area almost “outside” of the restaurant. It was freezing. Didn’t even take my coat off. In fact I actually put my wool hat back on half way through the meal. I was debating going to my car and grabbing my mittens. It took a good 20 minutes to see the waitress initially. And the meal took you about 45 minutes to come out. They have one waitress serving 15+ tables so being able to even talk to her felt like we were talking to a celebrity. Not to mention we asked for a refill on bread 3+ times, and yet we didn’t get it. Food was alright but for the price not it. Honestly could never see me or my family ever coming back EVER. If you’re looking for a place that’s gonna leave you in an Arctic chamber waiting for overpriced Italian dish’s, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a good fantasy football punishment, just send the loser here for an evening dinner.
