Went into restaurant, ordered, was given a 20 minute wait time. Restaurant only had 2 patrons, a couple of takeout orders, but all in all it was very quiet. We got a jalapeño margarita, which was awful. So strong and wrong flavors. After 30 mins, we started asking about our order. 45 mins later I stood at the desk asking them to just give us whatever was ready. 50 mins later we got the food. We were charged $17 for the small 8 oz with ice margherita, they gave us shrimp instead of fish tacos and charged us for avocado which wasn’t in the soul. This is what happens when you leave a bunch of kids in charge of your restaurant on a holiday. 50 minute wait time in a quiet restaurant. They were better off just closing for the night.

The atmosphere and inside was fun and inviting, but for $10 we were expecting better queso. It seemed more like reheated nacho cheese. We thought the rice was a little disappointing/under seasoned.

This can be a great place to enjoy food, drinks and atmosphere. The menu includes many yummy dishes including Baja tacos. Unfortunately, the fried fish in the tacos tasted and looked like it wasn’t fresh. The fried fish was soft and not crispy. On the plus side it did have purple cabbage (on the bottom of the taco not the top. Ok but not really). Oh well. The potential is there and I am hopeful ?. The service and atmosphere is nice. I’m looking forward to trying more dishes.

Senor Frog sold tickets to a tequila festival which was held on January 27, 2024 in Southhold. The tickets stated tequila & tacos. Having attended their previous “festival” in Wading River, where they served free food and samples of tequila, we expected the same because that’s what the tickets stated.. All food had to be purchased on July 27th and the tequila vendors there were from liquor companies that come for free to liquor stores. It was very warm and there was no seating available whatsoever, just round tables where you had to stand up around. One of the friends we went with is disabled and had to be aided back to the car because he couldn’t walk. He had a heat stroke from not being able to sit. We all left at this point. Senor Frog was not honest on their tickets and signs advertising this event. The tickets should have stated food available at regular prices. They made a huge profit from this at little cost to themselves. Needless to say we all won’t be patronizing this chain restaurant anymore.

We were looking for a reasonably priced lunch on Long Island. We found Senor Taco by luck. They have a nice outdoor seating area and great menu. Fresh and delicious, the Birria taco was amazing. Wish they had a place closer to home. Friendly and attentive service as well. Super clean bathroom

The wait here is unbelievable, 55 mins for takeout is insane, go to Miguel’s medical grill, you place an order and it’s ready and delicious in 10 mins
More than an hour to eat and then the dessert took so long that we decided to leave the place

Wanted to like this spot but multiple times I’ve ordered from here there’s always items missing from the order. Ironically always the most expensive items as well, I wonder why. Many times it’s delivery, so now it’s on me to decide to go drive and get it back. Do yourself a favor and go to Funchos, 15 min down the road but always on point with service.
