Got screwed over at trivia night tonight. Host refused to admit his answer was wrong regarding the MC of Woodstock. We showed evidence on our phone and was accused of cheating. Not a good look for longtime customers and patrons.

I've given this place a 5 star two years ago but my recent visit was bad. Two bartenders who couldn't keep up because they were slow. I stood at the bar in full view while the two bartenders ignore me like I was invisible. They waited on regulars who walked in after me. Twenty minutes later I left. Went to see the band but no seats available and the bar near the band side of the building was closed.

The restaurant is next to an active airstrip...you see small planes take off and land. Menu is diverse and food is very well prepared. Service is excellent...staff friendly and efficient. Will return.

We were the only people dining here during our experience. The atmosphere is really cool and the staff was super nice. However, for being the only people there, I would’ve expected a higher level of service. We were left with empty water glasses and sort of just felt forgotten about. One of our meals was decent, and the other was bland. It was good enough, but not worth the money. This is where we chose to dine for our wedding anniversary, so a little more attentiveness would’ve went a long way.

This is a must-go to restaurant, the vibes the food the service! Everyone is very friendly and Bianca the manager is world class manager that keeps this place pristine. Our host Charlize was super nice and helped us pick best food. I would definitely come here again.

Waited 75 minutes for my meal and that was only the beginning of a horrible experience. My son and daughter-in-law took us out for our 50th anniversary. After the long wait, he asked if a complimentary drink was a possibility. (only his wife and he were affected as my wife and i were drinking water) and the server said I must ask my manager. The was denied and he said to the manager that was no way to run a business. Next a lady came to our table (possibly the owner?) and rudely said this is a restaurant and this wait should be expected. She gave us foil trays and lids, a bill and tossed a brown bag onto the table that landed atop of my meal and said leave. I worked over 30 years in a management position working with the public and I was taken aback. I knew this was important that my son wanted to make this anniversary special. I agree with him; this is no way to run a business. I felt bad for the servers as they were polite and professional in their duties.
Considering Wallkill is a bit of a food desert, what a treasure that the owners bring a culinary delight to our town. The food is so delicious, the views from inside the restaurant are beautiful! Our server was Vivian and she was great! Thank you Nu Cavu for your local business.
